ConvenientWe decided to stay in Naha on our last night as the car rental company (Apple) do not open until 8am and our departing flight leaves at 0855 the next day. Hotel is located right by the main road and there isnt any drive way to the hotel. The staff told us to stop our car by the main road to unload our luggage - we did a quick one as the road was pretty busy. The monorail station is about 2 mins walk across the street from the hotel. Super convenient. The shopping street (which was rather boring) is just 3 mins walk. Hotel facilities are pretty basic. Only 1 small pillow to 1 bed. Hair dryer, soap, shampoo, toothbrush (basic toiletries) are provided. We didn't order the breakfast as it was too early to leave the next day.

A pleasant surpriseValue for money, centralized location, wonderful hospitality, spacious rooms (for Japanese standard), comfortable beds, high pressures showers - what more can I say? I got more value for my money than what I expected. Such a pleasant surprise for me and my family. We stayed here for 6 nights and we are all very happy with our choice. Parking wise, please park at the manned carpark right behind the hotel. They charge roughly 1800 yen per night for a more than 12 hour parking. We made the mistake of parking at the yellow and green signed carpark nearby and incurred a 8000 yen charge for a night of parking. That wasn't pleasant, but the hotel and it's comfort all made up for it. The gentleman at the reception speaks English and the place despite not being the newest in town is perfectly upkept and cleanliness is of a very high standard. Do ask for twin beds even if you are travelling as a couple, Japanese double beds are not exactly for us non petite couples ;) Everyone has been sleeping very well with the twin bed arrangement and the stay here has been nothing short of pleasant. If you are a newbie to Okinawa or a solo lady traveller, this is the perfect hotel for you. Gentle on the pocket, roads all around are brightly lit with Kokusai Dori and the monorail station at your doorstep. We booked an Air BnB before in our previous trip and didn't know that the streets of Okinawa are not as well lit as expected. Please do not drive at night out of Naha area if you are not comfortable driving in not-well-lit surroundings. Not to worry for if you stay in Hotel Maruki, everything around it is well lit 24/7. Thank you for the wonderful experience for my family Hotel Maruki we will definitely recommend this place to our friends or to anyone who is coming to Okinawa

Value for moneyLocation was great. Just 5mins walk from one end of Kokusai Street. Bed was queen size unlike some hotels which provide super single size bed as a double bed.Internet is abit unstable. Price was of great value. Only con is the hotel only has 6 parking lots at the opp end and it is very squeezy. Will consider staying there again due to price and location.

Good locationChose it for it's location; 6 stations away from Naha airport, less than 5min walk from station and about 10 mins away from the walking street. Other than the convenience, this hotel is old on the inside, there's musky smell when the aircon is turned off. It doesn't provide air purifier unlike some Japanese hotels. Room size is reasonable, we were assigned a room facing the monorail track and main road but we can barely hear the noise. The only noise was probably the closing and opening of the soild wooden rooms door by guests. Only two options available for breakfast - Western and Japanese, you have to select one and inform the counter staff who will then bring to you. The juices, coffee and tea are self service and free flow. Portion of the breakfast was really generous. Overall it's an okay hotel if it's for a night or two.

Superb LocationThis 3 star hotel has a superb location. Just 2 min walk from the Kenchomae station which makes it very convenient and economical to take the train directly to and fro the airport. It is also 2 min walk to Kokusai Dori where all the happenings take place. There is a big Ryubo departmental store which is connected to Kenchomae station. I would highly recommend this hotel for its superb location, very polite staff and cleanliness.
