    Wonderful Location

This hotel is situated near the passenger liner terminal and presently the Olympic village for a section of the 2020 Olympics is being constructed. The views from the hotel are wonderful almost 160 but this could change when the village has been complete. The staff while being reserved but welcoming had very little English. Barely enough to enable them to book a client into the hotel. We had difficulty requesting drinks for example we wanted two drinks and held up two fingers nut one drink arrived. We found writing down our request worked best. It could well be the accent we have which made it difficult but even speaking slowly did not help. the room was spacious enough to be able to walk freely from the door to the window wheeling a bulky bag. The bed was firm, the duvet was winter weight in 38 degrees of heat. Only a bottom sheet so sleeping was with night attire only. Slippers were provided and we respected their 'no shoes worn in in the room' policy. The buffet breakfast was very good and suited all nationalities. A variety of dishes for western palates and all the appropriate dishes for eastern palates. Evening meals were catered for in the down stairs dining room a single dish style of menu. Upstairs the set style of menu which includes up to 17 small dishes for one diner. The air conditioning was important and worked very efficiently

    Getting old and tired

Three stars is getting on the generous side for this hotel. On an initial glance it presents well but look closer and youll see its lost a lot of its gloss and finish. Rooms are a good size for Tokyo but mine was dirty, with stains on the walls, mould around the air conditioner outlet, wall paper starting to peel off and a cracked sink in the bathroom. The breakfast is adequate. No more, no less. Staff were welcoming and helpful. However they had very limited English. You pay for what you get in Tokyo. So at 2.5 to 3 stars dont set your expectations too high. But the hotel was comfortable.

Close to the 2020 Olympic Village

Comfortable in room standards.Breakfast is also available. Has all of the basics, Public transport near by. Laundromat down the block, convenience stores very close also. Eateries are in the local area, may need to take a stroll to find what you want.
