  Style meets History

  We stayed at Hotel Luise for just one night. The hotel is situated in the town centre of Dinkelsbühl. Reception: the staff is really really friendly and helpful. Room: spacious, bright, modern, bathroom very spacious and stylish. Shampoo/soap/shower gel etc. are provided. Terrasse: as it was winter we did not use the terrasse. In summer you can chill there but be aware: the neighbours are right next to you (only separated by a pot plant). Breakfast: For just 6 per person you can indulge in German breakfast heaven. Do not expect "warm Asian food". It is German breakfast: fresh buns, cheese, sliced meat, jam (homemade and yum!), juices, fruit, yoghurt....and the list goes on :-) Wifi: free and fast. Instruction are in the room (you need to register with a name and an email address as much as we remember; but it is pretty easy to use). Parking your car: You wont need to pay for a parking permission if you a) park the car outside the town (the walk back is not too far) or b) you use a parking permission provided by the hotel (from 4pm until 10 am the next only!) for free :-) Would we recommend the hotel? YES! If you are not travelling on a budget it is certainly a fantastic choice.

  Ultramodern hotel

  The hotel is very modern and has some slightly odd design features. There was a metal animal head on the wall in our room that freaked my wife out (we covered it with a coat) but apart from that the room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. There was dedicated parking outside the building which was important as the town was full of tourists. The downside, if any, was that the reception, meals etc were in a different building. In the event this was not a problem but if it the weather had been bad we would not have been very happy about this (it was not made clear on the booking site). The breakfast was very good.

  Fantastic stay!

  Very modern hotel, with much of rhe old furnishings. We slept really well. Hotel is centrally located, easy walk to all the sites and restaurants but also away from noisy street. Professional check-in staff. Breakfast fantastic value for money. Very busy between 9am and 10am. Recommend to go earlier or after 10am. Highly recommend this hotel.

  Lovely hotel and location

  Super location, in the centre of Dinkelsbuhl. Beautifully finished / decorated design hotel - clean and very comfortable. Due to the booking platform used, the reservation was supposed to be for two adults, however the room selected was a single room. The staff did recognize the mistake and changed the booking. However they were slightly condescending about it. I would stay here again, as the overall experience was a good one, and a super breakfast was provided. Parking is not for free and pets are welcome.

  Great location but some odd things

  We loved the location of our building. The office is a few blocks from the building we were in and we had to ask how to get there to check in. We paid for parking and were glad. The breakfast at their restaurant (a third building) is also a block and 1/2 from the room. We did not find the breakfast to be American friendly in the selections, and was expensive. The room was good for being in an old remodeled building. Clean with good places for clothes. The shower had to have a towel on the floor to prevent water from running into the toilet/sink area. Could use a mirror in the room. Only a small mirror in bathroom. Had an elevator and well lit halls and stairs. Compared to the ten rooms we stayed in across europe near/in old towns, this was pretty good for the price. Only slight problems in the room.
