Advent in sopronHotel is very cosy, clean and very pleasant. The staff is very nice and helpful. The food is tasty and enought to choose. Welness is a bit small but the fitness quite well equipped. This hotel is a good choice.

Very clean and fresh airLocation is perfect (on a hill, partially surrounded by forest), air is very fresh. Inside design is still old-school (which is not a problem at all), rooms are OK although slightly outdated (especially the bathroom). Food is tasty and offering wide range of meals. Wellness is relatively small. Staff is kind, services are good.

Very pleasant hotel in the hills around SopronWe really enjoyed our stay in hotel Lover! I would rate the hotel as 3 and a half stars. The surroundings is great for many different walks, hikes in the hills and woods around. Lovely clean air to breath! We even saw deer passing by in the early evening. Many beautiful properties around as well To reach the center, you can take a bus that goes every 15 minutes. About the hotel: All the rooms have a balcony and the rooms are very clean and have decent space. Bed was comfy and the bathroom practical but with a bathtub. Reception staff was very correct, rather friendly but some of them very distant although we speak Hungarian. They give good advice about the tourist highlights in the vicinity. The reservation came half board and the food was good, a lot of choice and taste warm dishes at dinner. Staff kept refilling the buffet and the chef even made an appearance in the evening to check everything. The only thing I missed was an outdoor pool :) We didn't try the wellness so no judgement about that. Would love to return to enjoy the hikes which are not difficult for not trained people. There are good paths to follow, also for jogging or mountain biking.

Very nice place
I was there in winter. Very good hotel, it is situated in beautiful place. Nice view from the window and wonderful nature for the forest walk. Not far from the city by bus. Sopron is small nice town. I have liked to walk there. There are a swimming pool and spa in the hotel it was nicely. Breakfasts were yummy and various. The room was clear and neat. There was a balcony - there I breathed forest air)) I would like to return in this place one more time.

Good value for Western Europeans and North AmericansSummary: we (2 adults, one 12 year old) stayed for 5 nights in August for about 180K HUF (about $120 USD/night at the time). This included breakfast, soup at lunch, and dinner. Positives: Location, fresh food and variety, access to outdoor activities, bike rentals, safe for valuables, price, friendly staff, good lobby. Needs to improve: some A/C please, larger more modern bathrooms. We really liked quick and easy access to the forest trails (big thumbs up after a large meal). You could also walk to old town in 35 minutes or take a bus just outside the hotel. I was impressed by the food since there was always fresh fruit and vegetables available for breakfast and dinner. Lots of choices (even for Vegetarian). Even the bread was good (more than just the national favorite white bread). I rented a bike in the morning and did a beautiful loop to Austria and back (part of it on the "Iron Curtain" trail). If you go during summer, I'm told the food variety is better, but it can get really hot in the rooms on the west side.
