  Super stay; just days after lift lockdown

  The hotel is benefiting from its private ownership. The staff is very engaged, professional and nice. Rome is bouncing back from COVID 19 and this hotel is well prepared. All hygiene measures that can be thought of are in place.

  Perfect hotel in center of the City

  You can reach every important target in the City maximum 30 minits by foot and 10 by e-scooter. The breakfast is not buffet style so you have to order from the menu wich is not so long. But the kitchen is good... Everybody was extremly kind!

  Perfect in every way!

  "Perhaps living through a pandemic heightens the senses and makes one more aware of the fine things in life because the Hotel Locarno seemed to us like an oasis of perfection in every way! This privately owned, stylish hotel is a testament to the owners dedication to the history of the building and to the culture of the city and to making its guests as comfortable and content as possible. The location is perfect right next to Piazza del Popolo with its twin churches (with Bernini touches)! and a third, housing a couple of Caravaggios! The Locarno's Art Nouveau detailing is superb and much of it is original. Our suite was gorgeous, the massive bed so comfortable and the bathroom.wellextraordinary, a bit of old world opulence! Every modern amenity you could wish for is available and yet the captivating Liberty ambience is maintained. Each member of staff, without exception, is engaged, efficient, and charming (A special shout out to Veronica!) The bar food is extremely good, enhanced by the lovely surroundings, whether you choose to eat in the charming courtyard or the breathtaking rooftop garden (fab cocktails). The hotel is frequented by some of Romes fashionista which all adds to the glamour of this lovely hotel. Needless to say, we will be back!

  The best hotel in Rome

  By far, the best hotel in Rome. The hotel, after a careful refurbishment who enhanced its confort, still retain intact its unique charm and original style. The position is great, the bar legendary, its cocktail iconic. Still run by the original owners, staff really makes you feel at home. Each time it's liking seeing an old friend you have been missing terribly!!

  A Midwinter Night's Dream

  By far one the best hotel I visited! The red suite we stayed in has got the charme and the style of a true noble house. Dinner and drinks in front of the fireplace is a remarkable experience considering we are in centre of the city but the the outside garden is even better! A truly remarkable stay only too short.
