  Super Hotel in Postira !

  Un hotel de cuatro estrellas, pero debería ser de cinco. Excelente servicio e infraestructura, la gente que trabaja en el hotel tiene un trato muy atento y familiar. Realmente un lugar recomendable para descansar y situar tu centro de operaciones en la isla de brac. Postira es un pequeño pueblo que esta ahora orientado al turismo, muy seguro, tranquilo y familiar, lo mejor para el descanso (no olvides visitar la playa lobrecina, es cerca del pueblo). Lipa fue una excelente opción para nosotros, las piezas son amplias, limpias, cómodas y bien iluminadas, además tiene un restaurante muy recomendable con terraza a orillas del adriático que es maravilloso. Un saludo especial a Ivica y Milica ( Oh milica slatka mala milica¡¡¡) y a todos los que trabajan tan profesionalmente y atentos en el Lipa (Gracias a Drazen y Daniel por ser tan atentos en los desayunos) Puno Pozdravi ¡¡¡¡¡¡

  Anemic AC and totally disinterested staff

  First off, the good: excellent location on harbor in Postira. Thats where it stops. It seems this place is run by owners not willing to pay electricity bills to make the hotel comfortable, and who have a culture of oppressing both staff and guests. My friend and I booked two rooms for a wedding. We pre-paid 30% of the two rooms and had a confirmation email. We arrived at the hotel to be told we only had one room that we must share, but it was OK because it had two beds. We walked in and found one bed and a pull out couch - each bed with only one pillow each. The front desk assistant was totally unable/unwilling to help rectify the situation upon checkin. But it gets worse...the room smells like a damp baby diaper (but opening the window only letsin more heat) and the air-conditioning in the entire building (regardless of the temp you select) is set to go NO LOWER THAN 23C which is 75F. Our room was easily hotter - probably 78-80F. While the hallways and lobby get nice and cold (even though they dont run the ac in the hallways even during a 108degree heatwave, I turned the units on to test and found that air to be very cold) the room trickles out damp warm air. When I complained to the owner she informed me that there is no problem with the air conditioning as it was just fixed, it would not got any lower than 23c, and I was the only one with the issue. As if it was somehow an irrational request to sleep in a room that was below 23c. I ended up sleeping on a couch in a friends Airbnb where the AC actually worked. Beware - if you like to sleep in a cool, dry room that doesnt smell like diapers, there are plenty of other places in town that are a better fit.

  more then very good

  If I will rate Hotel Lipa as excellent I will not make any mistake, but there are still few small things which needs to be "sharpen up" and this will bring them on another level. Room is great , just great, but if you do not have terrace you are doomed with your swimming equipment. So watch which room you will book. Personally, breakfast is not the main point for me, but you need to be aware that it will disappoint people who wants variety of all possible stuff in the morning. Compensation for me was definitely nicest terrace in town. You are in the middle of the Postire bay but so nicely hided between the trees. Great view. Important to mention is that hotel bar (very nice coffee and nice stuff) is crowded with mix of local people and tourist interacting together. This is giving portion of very nice charm. This is definitely hotel which is above "just a standard near sea hotel". Great job.

  Great location, but thats it!

  The Hotel Lipa in Postira was unacceptable for these reasons: 1. Dirty towels put on the floor were found hanging on the towel bars when we returned from the day, wet and dirty. Had to go to front desk for clean towels 2. Mold in shower see attached photos 3. Threadbare carpet with stains, hairballs on the rug from lack of cleaning, stains everywhere. 4. Soap and shampoo not replenished for second day 5. Beds soft no support uncomfortable 6. Worst of allPatio door does not lock. When I informed the receptionist and asked for a repair she told me that this is an old hotel and they have no repairs just live with it. Shutters on balcony broken.

  Great location

  Lovely hotel & very friendly staff. Room is great..with great terrace...sea view but you watch which room you will book. Towels changed and room serviced daily. Breakfast is ok...not like in big hotels with 100 choices to eat but quite ok. And best of all is that hotel bar is crowded with mix of local people and tourist
