  Perfect Hotel!

  Located in the nature, with so nice decorated rooms with huge king size bed, very helpful personell, excellent breakfast. Very romantic decoration in the rooms as also at the lobby and breakfast area. Restaurant excellent with very good value for money. Possibility for riding horses! Superb for an extraordinary marriage :)

  Overall Nice Experience, yet Restaurant Terrible

  I am rating the hotel experience with four stars, because from the time of arrival till departure, we had a good time. The room is located away from the main hotel, not too bad because the whole complex is built as a high class farm house, with many horse stables. The room is fine, good bed, nice amenities and bathroom. Mind you if you open window, one can hear clear the nearby highway traffic noise. They have a mini Spa on the upper floor and if you wish to use it, the reception needs advance notice. The layout is spars and minimalistic. Nothing special. Their breakfast buffet is outstanding. On the down side is the restaurant experience. We arrived at the dining room (which for one or other reason is managed by a third party) at 7:30 PM. The lady at the room told us, you have a reservation, we said no because we are hotel guests and the restaurant was not full. We are sent out, with the answer we are full and have a nice day. Rude to say the least, no alternative seating timing given at a later time even the restaurant is opened till 10 PM. This left us no choice to go to the neighbouring town looking for a dinner. On a final note, staff on arrival and at the breakfast room have to undergo in a smile training. Now I know what a sour face looks like. Nice property but we wont return.

  Great SPA, beautiful comfortable rooms...

  Amazing birds of prey (falcons and owls) which you can touch and delicious cosy restaurant. Charming and friendly staff. The breakfast buffet was amazing. Beautiful horses to look at. There is also a hunting school if you wish. Best hotel in Saarland!

  Superb place to stay

  Interesting complex of buildings and such a quiet, peaceful and relaxing setting. I am disabled and use a mobility scooter and was given room 35 which was perfect. I could leave my scooter on the bridge/lounge area outside the room.Shower fine but a little difficult getting in and out due to the height of the step, but I cannot use a bath. Wonderful large bed.Lovely room which was comfortable and nicely decorated. The Galhau Haus has a lift and you can get a drink in the lounge without having to go to the restaurant. The copious breakfast is served there also. All staff were very friendly and helpful. We dined in the restaurant St. Antonius and it was fabulous.Food amazing, the waiter a fantastic character and the ambiance just wonderful. My husband commented that the Lamb saddle with garlic sauce was the best lamb he had ever tasted. Good wine too. We had a most enjoyable stay and will return next year. We would highly recommend the Romantic Hotel Linslerhof.

  Middle of nowhere

  Hotel is in middle of nowhere. Belive it or not, there is no network. Rely on guest wifi. Meeting room: big enough but the projector cant project high resolution powerpoint. We ended up all having the presentation on our laptops. Guest room: cold. I really felt cold. My room was in a walking distance from reception. I also could hear everyone walking and the music from a marriage in the restaurant kept me awake until 2am. Setting is vintage, hence good looking. Very clean overall. Restaurant; we landed late in Luxembourg, i informed the hotel and they didnt do anything to fully accommodate us for dinner. We arrived 9pm and 9.30 kitchen closed. No more orders after the first round. The menu contains pork all over. Didnt see any other hot meal without pork. Finally i asked for soup.. I was told it was vegetarian...small drops of ham didnt matter according to them. I wouldnt recommended it unless you can sacrifice in order to be in a farm-converted-to-hotel.
