    Excellent!

Located few minutes away from the subway or airport shuttle bus, near the beautiful park. Very neat and clean. Room quiet and well isolated from the ambient noise. Very comfortable bed. Room maintenance on the highest level, bath cosmetics of the amazing quality. Worth every penny, even the size of the room might appear a bit tiny ( my choice was semi- double room ). Staff friendly. No money x-change available at this hotel. Budget hotel offering much more value for the price!

Construction works (summer 2016) but still a nice view and ideal location

Arrival was quite straightforward, since it was easy to get to Nakajima-Koen metro station from the airport shuttle, and from there a short, pleasant stroll. The hotel staff were friendly and spoke decent English, and the room itself comfortable and clean. The hotel itself is a little old (60s-70s) and has a somewhat retro feel to it, but everything impeccably clean with comfortable beds and a great bathroom. First-time travellers to Japan will find the toilet somewhat confusing, but it's a great feature. There were some construction works going on outside my window, but in any case the view of Nakajima Park was impressive. It's a short walk to the city centre and there are lots of convenience stores open late nearby. The biggest plus, and the reason why I'd probably book again, is its proximity to Nakajima Park, which is literally on your doorstep (just cross the road). There weren't so many green places in the centre of Sapporo, so it was a real calming experience to be able to wake up and go for a short walk there.

    Location..Location

Booked hotel early for the annual Snow Festival. Located near Nakajima Park and the nearest Subway station either in the park or off the Main Street was 6-10 mins away in the snow. From subway station easy ride to Odori Park with snow sculptures, food booths and jump ramp. You can also easily access Susukino Ice World site with ice sculptures. There was free internet in the room. Small double bed with mini refrigerator, heater was on but couldn't adjust, cracked window open to get some air. Room on the smaller side. Beautiful view from room of the park and the area. Hotel offered buffet breakfast (a little pricey) with Western and Japanese fare. Nice, no frills hotel with a great location. Would definitely stay again.

Best location ever although a bit dated. Big-ger rooms than normal in Japan :)

Within its class 5 stars. Don't get it wrong this is a middle class hotel but really nice. The best is the park in front. Fantastic views. Although a bit dated ,the rooms are bigger than regular Japanese hotel rooms. Wifi was fast, TV without any international programs. Very quiet . I would come back .Just a nice place. Reception staff tried a lot to do it right although they hardly spoke any other language tthan japanese. I liked the metro station nakajima practically in front of the hotel. No need for a cab from sapporo station. Around a 50 m walk . City center and shops very walkable even with a lot of snow this week.

    Small Hotel room

We stayed 2 nights at this hotel as it was planned within the itinerary. Even though it seemed to be quite near to amenities, it was pretty hard for us to walk so far during snowy days. Unlike the hotels we stayed in other parts of Hokkaido, this hotel has limited amenities. We had to walk out to the nearest convenience store, about 10 mins brisk walk away, to get some food and drinks in late night. Room is comparatively smallest amongst the hotels we stayed in this trip. Can only say that this hotel meet minimum needs. Service and cleanliness wise, it is not bad.
