  The hotel looks nice in the pictures, but it is essentially just a Formula 1 in party clothes. Everything is the cheapest, furniture is flimsy, the bathroom is a tiny plastic closet - ipossible to have a shower with the curtain closed. However, the main problem was the internet. Although it worked the speed never rose above 900 kB, completly inadequate for even the most basic uses. The rude receptionist said it was a problem with 'the wifi in the village' and seemed to think that is wasn't a problem. There are much nicer hotels in the district and absolutly no reason to choose this one.

  I'm a lot in France and it was for me the worst dining experience in years. The rooms are tiny and the bathroom is a laugh. The staff is friendly but that's the only thing possitive I can mention. Go to another hotel in Clermont Ferrand.

  Family hotel on the Allier river

  Family Inn on the Allier river. Rooms are average size on French standard. Our room had a balcony overlooking the river. It was quiet and peaceful. Room décor is pretty basic. The bathroom cabin is quite small especially the shower. We had only one towel for two and had to go the reception to get a second one. We came back from a long day out and our room was not cleaned. we had to request from someone to go up and clean. it was partially done (only the beds) and the bathroom was left the way we left it in the morning. Good breakfast buffet in the morning. Good internet. If you want to leave early make sure you advise the receptionist as they do open only at 7.30 am. Not sure if I would stay there again.

  My wife and I have stayed at this hotel many times as we have family living near the hotel

  This is a 2 star hotel and restaurant but in my opinion the restaurant should be 3 star. The rooms are adequate and the beds comfortable and the hotel is situated alongside the river Allier with scenic views. The breakfast is very good and the hotel has a full menu and also, during the week, a buffet at lunchtime. The location is ideal for those seeking a stopover on their way up or down through France.

  Not far from the motorway, wonderful restaurant, great stopover

  For a 2 star hotel it was clean and well presented, we had a view of the river which was lovely. My only problem was that it had a good step up into the bathroom. The staff were lovely and the food in the restaurant was wonderful.
