  A lovely location right on the beach but a good walk to the nearest shops, bars and restaurants. We were made to feel welcome despite being slightly early for the normal check in time.We were given our keys and off we went to our room.We opened the door to be welcomed by a nice sea breeze as the balcony windows had been left open for us.The room was pleasant enough although a touch dated.We had asked at reception about the nearest Atm and left the room straight away to walk there and have a look around the area.When returning in the evening we were disappointed to find the restaurant had stopped serving but was informed the bar was still open. After a pleasant evening in the bar chatting to some other guests we retired to or room. This is were a so called 3 hotel let us down and spoilt our holiday. On returning to our room we were welcomed by a plague of mosquitos they were on the windows and all over the bed linen. I went to reception only to find it closed and no staff on site to help only a phone number. The person I spoke to offered no help except to say they had never had this problem and wouldn't come to our room to investigate nor would he find us another room or even try. He ordered a taxi for us at around 12:30 am costing 48. We are a mature couple aged 57 and over 60 years of age well travelled but have never been so badly let down by extremely poor service. We have written to the hotel 3 times without reply.Do not stay at this hotel if you need good service or any help late at night.

  Nice people, awful hotel

  The hotel is old and run down. Our sheets actually had patches on them and towels were very thin with holes. Nothing much near the hotel which fores you to drive to dinner, etc. The service was fine--we just found it to be a very depressing hotel and actually ended up leaving early. No wifi in the room--only in the public areas which are off limits after 9 PM.

  simple, friendly, basic family owned hotel, nothing fancy but SO helpful equipe, comfortable rooms, SUPER showers, idyllic views and a surprisingly good restaurant attached for an escape what more does one need>>

  Good value for 3 star

  This is a family run hotel and has all of the benefits that come with such a business. Ultimately, it is a 3 star hotel but there are a lot of little touches that I noticed. They were very helpful in helping me with travel plans. I like the location because it is off the beaten track. The beach is not crowded. The restaurant surprised me. I had an excellent meal here. I would come back.

  Hotel on the beach

  Half decent hotel, basic 1970,s style, situated on the beach/sand dunes, quiet. Towels not replaced on a daily basis. Advertised with free parking....free if you want to leave your car on waste ground on the other side of the road, if not, 7 euro's a night to park in the compound. Advertised as 3*...just.
