  Dreadful hotel

  I visited and stayed one night. Dirty rooms. Unhelpful staff. They had just opened for the season but were not ready. Do not stay here. Please write 200 characters for your review. What a load of garbage. Garbage garbage.

  Excellent family run hotel

  Ive stayed many times in this superbly located hotel. The underground CarPark is directly opposite as is an excellent supermarket and the village of Val Disere also a short walk to main lifts and meetings point. Every year it has improved with most recently updated double glazing to minimise any street noise. Rooms also have been upgraded with USB sockets ( no travel adapter required) Breakfast offers both cooked and continental, more than adequate for me and my hungry family. Christophe, Junke and manager Cedric are on hand for any questions regarding life passes, which can be bought at reception, or any other queries. The boot room with heated boot warmers is conveniently located as you enter the automatic entrance door. Highly recommend

  Fantastic base to visit Val D'Isere

  Have been to cretes Blanches several times now with various groups of friends. This is a comfortable hotel in a fantastic location. The staff are great and nothing was too much trouble. Rooms are warm, comfortable and clean. Lounge and dining room provide a typical savoyard atmosphere. Boot room with heated boot warmers. The breakfast buffet provided a great start to our skiing day. Will have no hesitation booking the cretes next time away in Val D'Isere. A great location for the bars and restaurants in town.

  Good hotel but very small basic rooms

  Location, ski room and breakfast all good, they would get 4 stars for that. Staff very friendly and another 4 stars for them. Room size is the main issue. Standard room isn't really fit for purpose in terms of size. Virtually no storage, so you have to live out of a suitcase for a week and no shelves to put things on. The two single beds effectively fill the room. Not a room you can sit in to read a book or even for two people to try and move about or get changed at the same time! Bathroom very small and could do with a refit. You need to be smaller than 6ft to use the shower without stooping. No lift so need to be fit to get your suitcase to your room. If it was a budget hotel you could accept the very tiny room, but vastly overpriced for what you get.

  great bolt hole for a few days on the slopes

  Good clean simple room with all required amenities. Kettle in room was particularly welcome. Great bath and plenty of hot water. Location simply coundn't be better halfway between best ski hire shop (Snowberry) and lifts.
