  Too expensive for the service offered

  The reception was very nice, we were offered small towels, disposable robe and disposable sandals for the swimming pool. The water in the swimming pool is not warm enough but the view from there is nice. The dinner in the restaurant us too expensive for the what it is. The food was good but not spectacular considering the price (76 euros for a couple with only a half bottle wine!) and the restaurant stuff was quite pushy to consume aperitif etc... They even called us twice in the mobile to book the restaurant... The room though was quite big, nicely decorated and the bed very comfy.

  Rather dissapointing

  In general, the hotel, service and facilities are OK. However, there were some ugly details that left us rather dissapointed. First of all, I was called two times to my mobile to see if I wanted to book a table in the restaurant. The excuse is that we ran the risk of not having where to have dinner. During dinner we saw at least five empty tables around us and the next day we found other restaurants within walking distance. Needless to say that we felt deceived. Second, the wifi gets you continously disconected, in real need of an upgrade. Last, it was quite expensive for a 3-star hotel.

  Great service and restaurant

  We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Les Autanes: charming rooms and pool, good breakfasts and excellent dinners (fish in particular) and great staff certainly improved our holiday. Ancelle itself is a nice location for exploring the Champsaur Valley

  Super hotel, great relaxation

  We came with my wife to enjoy our vacation and we really did. A big plus is the pool, really clean and perfect view. Breakfasts and dinners delicious, rich choice. Location is great, you can walk around and explore nature. Price is reasonable, we were satisfied.

  Could do better

  I was quite disappointed with my stay. It advertises itself as a spa hotel but even guests have to pay to use it and only when booked in advance. The main pool was cold and no one lasted more than 5/10 minutes in it. We only had one towel between two of us and when we asked, were still not provided with another. The food was overpriced in the restaurant and it was very noisy in the dining room in the evening so you had to shout over the table at each other and we had to wait an hour between ordering and getting the starter. We also found the room too cold and so turned the heating up but every day the cleaner would turn it down again so it never had the chance to heat up.
