    Extremely accommodating staff

    Every staff member we encountered at this hotel was as lovely as could be. The hotel itself is situated almost right on the beach, and our room had a view of the sea. The lobby is all white and modern -- very soothing. The bedroom was fine -- but with an excellent bathroom with a big soaking tub. Everything very clean. Had a relaxing massage which they accommodated last-minute. Very good value! We had dinner in the restaurant and again, the waiter was lovely. Steak with sauce was really delicious. Overall, our large group of 12 was delighted with our stay here and we would stay again.

    Perhaps 3 star, definitely not 4 star Hotel

    Arriving as group by coach with 23 persons the entrance drive is small and no one to help you with your luggage. As a 1 person I get a 'single room' which is small and leaving luggage in the small floor space available can be hazardous. Too small for my liking of around 10m2. A friend in the group saw her necklace disappearing in front of her eyes as it was slipping in a gap between the bedhead and the wall, so cautious not to place anything on that bedhead. The lift, the one only, for such a Hotel is small and takes forever. You may want to think twice to have dinner in the restaurant. An overzealous manager that seems continuously angry with his staff of older gentlemen. Don't expect a wine list, there is either red or white and no choice in between. Can not order a glass of wine or a flask either. There is a salad and vegetable bar which is reasonable but the half fried chicken served was totally over salted and reminded me of the type you get in your local supermarket. Everything seems to have a touch of too much salt in the food, so be aware if you have a tendency to higher blood pressure. Music is blaring from the pool area still at around 10 pm, forget an early night it is too loud........

    Vuelta a los años 70

    Personal amable. Vestíbulo amplio y acogedor. El resto del hotel está mal mantenido. Habitaciones con muebles de formica y colorines años 70. Lo peor son las ventanas que no insonorizan las habitaciones y resulta una tortura el ruido insoportable cuando hace viento. No se puede descansar ni un minuto.paea no perdérselo la decoración friky del comedor

    Too expensive for what you get

    We stayed overnight, as we spent only one day in Sottomarina. Weve received the room with the view to the sea which was really nice. However, the window was not modern and there was no possibility to leave it open what is very inconvenient, as we always sleep with the opened windows. The shower head was very small and half of its holes were impervious to water. There was not a huge variety for breakfast. We had eggs with bacon, though the bacon was really hard. There was no selection of fruits and vegetables. The coffee was really awful and its really strange having in mind that the hotel is in Italy! The taste of the coffee reminded me of the coffee that is melting in the hot water. The hotel offers the rent of beach chairs for 7 eur per person. For the overnight stay we paid 93 eur which is really too expensive for what you receive.

    I must say very little cordiality towards us

    A last minute choice, I make the reservation with my phone application, mistakenly for a page reload I had to re-enter my data, such as my credit card (given as a guarantee but my card still transacted even before arrival). Not thinking this was worth making a second booking. Contact the hotel by e-mail explaining the situation, without any problem they ask me to request a reservation or a cancellation without penalty. Again I contact the structure by phone, they said that there were no problems for this transfer. Apparently all solved. We arrive at the structure, general information, Giulia receptionist said that for the "canceled reservation" we had to work it out together. When quite annoyed I start my short holiday WITHOUT relax, reflecting on why after two days they had given me a different information than the previous ones. The following day in the late afternoon we return to the facility, after a day spent out, calls from the reception incoming for further "clarifications" and I must say very little cordiality towards us, especially from the lady saying that she is in accounting who intervened in the dialogue with the receptionists. Telling us that the most she could do was to issue us a voucher with the amount already with drawn from the card for a next stay with them the following year. Besides the fact that after all this treatment I would not have come back regardless but objectively this year many things have happened that no one would have ever imagined. This is why I personally did not find it right to keep something planned for the following year. I also tried to explain it to them but I had walls in front of them, a comparison was not possible. Fortunately, the very kind Booking assistance operators assisted me, guaranteeing me the reimbursement as predetermined. I know this sector very well, in fact I would have liked to spend three days of relax away from electronic devices but "thanks" to the terrible management of a situation has led to something else .. Bad organization, zero flexibility and costumer service. Breakfast really not worthy of a 4 star, really poor. Slow and moreover not attentive staff, a long wait to order a coffee and moreover twice they arrived wrong.
