  Fantastic cuisine and excellent service, nice room.

  The room we got, was nice, clean and elegant. In the bathroom the hotel owners provides you with small delicious cosmetics for the bath. There was a bath tube in the bathroom, which was great after a long trip in a warm weather. The refrigerator in the room was provided with a mini bar. The hotel rooms have air condition. In front of the room there is a little table and two chairs, which gives one a possibility for sitting outside. Cosy and elegant ambiente. And the cuisine! We ordered a menu consisting of the local ecological food with 3 courses. Every course was a piece of art. Wonderfully arranged and very tasty. Each meal was introduced by the waitress, who explained about the origin of the raw material and how it was prepared. Just wonderful! I can recommend this hotel for everybody. Yhe owners are very helpful and manage this place very well. Thank you for the wonderful experience.

  A lucky find

  The rain was sluicing down as we were making our way south and we hadn't seen anywhere suitable for lunch. Then I saw this hotel and said, "This will have to do"" Well, what a lucky find. The welcome was warm, the dining room charming and the food really good. It was somewhere out of the ordinary. There was imagination and flair in the cooking. Most enjoyable. It was a shame that we were just passing through, and goodness knows if we will go that way again. I can thoroughly recommend it. It is an hotel too. I imagine it would be most pleasant to stay there.

  A terrific find.

  On our way from the Loire to Chablis we spent one night here. The gal at the front desk got us taken care of and into our rooms quickly. Room was clean and tidy. We booked our rooms with the "Soirée étape" for an extra 13 euros. A fantastic 13 euros spent. The included dinner was delicious and just right. I suppose we could have ordered other things off the menu, but it wasn't needed. The woman who served us (I think she was the manager or perhaps the owner) was very accommodating as we retired to the "library/lobby" area to finish out bottle of wine. Breakfast was typical (for Europe) and good. Overall, an excellent, albeit quick, experience. The next time I'm passing through in either direction, I will definitely stay there again.

  A lucky find on the N77 to Auxerre

  On our way down to Bordeaux using free roads we spent one night here. The girl at the front desk was efficient we were into our room quickly. The room we got, was nice, clean and elegant. In the bathroom the hotel owners provides you with small delicious cosmetics The bath room was very modern, The refrigerator in the room was provided with a mini bar. The hotel rooms have air condition. In front of the room there is a little table and two chairs, which gives one a possibility for sitting outside. Cosy and elegant ambience. The cuisine! Was great the menu consisting of the local ecological food with 3 courses and several choices for each course. Every plate of food was a piece of art. Wonderfully arranged and very tasty.   Fantastic!

  Very good hotel, clean. Delicious food, cooked to perfection. Owners (cook and maitred) and staff are very friendly and helpfull. With a limitation they donkt expect you to walk the stairs to the breakfastroom but serve the full, very well provided breakfast with anything you want in a downstairs restaurant. A very recommendable place!
