  Not like it used to be

  The owners of the hotel are taking a more hands-off approach and the hotel is suffering. The food is over-priced for the quality, the wait staff are not very friendly (in French or English as our family is bilingual), the rooms are beginning to show wear and tear and the breakfast needs fresh croissants, pain au chocolat and bagettes. You are better off going to the boulangerie down the street and eating in the car. We stayed here in 2005 and were amazed by the wonderful food in the restaurant, how accomodating the owners were and how relaxing our stay was. Unfortunately we won't return after our trip in 2011 because the food was not good but the prices were just as high and the price of the room was too much for the quality and location.

  A Find

  We are still here having arrived à l'improviste and it is just our sort of place. The room is a little basic, but that's fine. The meal we have just had was delicious and the waiter couldn't have been more helpful, professional or charming. We haven't yet had the bill, but it is definitely somewhere we would come back to as being focused on the quality of the food and the needs of the customer.

  Super place for an overnight stop or just for a meal

  we found this via Logis hotel website, searching for a stop en route to the alps and needed a hotel for one night with a restaurant open for New Years Eve. We didn't know what to expect although previous stays in Logis hotels have mostly been very good. We read the trip advisor reviews and had mixed expectations. However, we were not disappointed at all. The welcome at reception was warm and friendly. The room was clean, the bed very comfy, the food and service was super. We didn't see the inside of all the rooms but if our room was to go by I am sure they are all decorated with unique style. Our room 6 was decorated with an African theme! The meal was really good. We were the only British staying and eating there that night and we were made to feel very welcome by everyone, staff and guests alike. We will stay and eat here again.

  Disappointed.

  This is a 3 pot/3 lamp category Logis, but it was NOT up to standard. Parking is easy, not protected. Our welcome was reasonable, (once we had found somebody to check us in). They have a very elderly Golden Retriever who was just gorgeous. We were shown to a large twin-bedded room (as requested) at the rear of the hotel, which was very drab, but relatively clean. The twin beds were very comfortable, unfortunately there was a dreadful humming noise all night. (I discovered that it was a air conditioning unit on the outside wall). The bathroom was adequate, shower was useless, generally drab and depressing. Dinner - not good, food uninspiring and very over priced.
