  The only good thing about Bagnoles de l'orne

  What a nice hotel ! Family business and super up to date, mega clean, perfect shower and wonderful breakfast :-) The friendliness can be pimped a little bit, but in the end, who cares if everything is in order. The big forest north-east of the town is magic, a true recommendation !! B'o Spa is closed on Sunday after 13h, unbelievable :-( and only with reservation weeks ahead possible to visit, ridiculous! The other one in town called "Hôtel Spa Du Béryl" was open but did not allow us to go in. Booking in advance was impossible, on the phone same and in the end when we were there the woman at the spa reception simply said no, did not care at all and mentioned it was sort of full, busy. There were three people in the pool at that moment, but the lady worked enough for that day and did not want any more hassle, unbelievable really!! But anyways, the forest is enchanting and amazingly beautiful

  Friendly family run hotel

  Well located just a few minutes walk from everything the hotel is currently 2 stars but deservingly on its way towards a 3rd star. Inside everything is very clean and well looked after, the hotel is family owned and run and this is reflected in the friendly service. Our room was small but perfectly organised and again everything was very clean and well looked after. I dont think the hotel was full but we had no noise issues and slept very well, the breakfast was good and simple. We stayed here during halloween and found it suitably spooky (in a good way!)   Lovely hotel close to lake and town

  This is a beautiful, quirky building situated close to the town centre & attractive lake. It is a family run Logis and fully deserving of its rating. The rooms are well proportioned, equipped with comfy chairs,TV, WIFI(very good) decent size ensuit with great shower.Everything is spotlessly clean.There is a lift in the main hotel building which is good as the stairs are steep & twisty. Everyone is friendly, helpful & willing to go that extra mile. There is a car park at the rear of the hotel accessed by a one way lane. The breakfast is very good value, plenty of everything.Make your own pancakes as well.

  Wonderful views

  Wonderful walks, views and history. A genuine pleasure to visit. The chateau is picture postcard perfect, the grounds and country walks are manicured and beautuful, the panoramic view over the Roc au Chien shows Bagnoles de Lorne in its glory. Wonderful.

  Fantastic Hotel with Excellent Staff

  Group of 22 people, we used this as a base for French and English friends to meet up. The hotel is clean, comfortable, quiet rooms with no neighbouring room noise at all. Superb beds, lovely décor. Restaurant food was also superb. Owners went out of their way to make sure we were looked after. Cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. Faultless. PS for dog owners, dogs are made to be welcome.
