  Histórico pero practico

  Hotel ubicado el la plaza, con parking en toda la plaza. Habitaciones pequeñas pero adecuadas y cómodas. Excelente precio, y un 10% de descuento si se reserva en su web. El comedor ofrece menú y platos para la cena, buena cualidad a un precio correcto para Francia. El wifi funcionó bien pero un poco lento. El trato del personal es amable. El pueblo es un buen sitio para explorar esa zona tan histórica.

  A lovely little hotel in the heart of France

  We encountered this hotel several years ago and when planning our holiday this year touring round France we decided to revisit the establishment and we were not disappointed this time. We received a warm welcome and were shown our room which was on the first floor and overlooking the square. The room although not the largest we have stayed in was well decorated and we both were able to move around freely and the bathroom although small was well designed with all the facilities easy to access. Despite the first night several items of the menu not being available this commission had been corrected by the following night and although garish in colour on some dishes very good. As the hotel is situated on a town square it can be noisy at night so if you wish a quiet night and don't mind a view of the internal courtyard request a room at the back. This hotels been added onto our list of hotels we will endeavour to return to in future years.

  Traditional coaching inn hotel on main square

  This traditional hotel is well placed. There is easy free parking right outside. We had a cheaper grade room which outlooked the square, it had tea/ coffee making facilities (unusual in France), the furniture and bed were pretty new. Mattress was very comfortable. Bathroom clean,although a little tired. The carpet in room could do with replacing. But it was great value for money. We would definitely stay here again.

  Fabulous small hotel, bit tired.

  Found by chance on the Internet. Needed to stop locally to visit some properties. Wonderful quaint hotel, easy parking outside. The town of Richelieu is just spectacular and so worth a visit We arrived too late for dinner in the restaurant so unable to comment on the food. The receptionist was however, very helpful and recommended a local restaurant in Chinon (20 mins drive) which she called for us and booked ahead. See separate review of that one!! The hotel bedroom was small, great character but bathroom a little tired, with some mould around shower tray etc. The water pressure was low, so not a great shower experience. Breakfast was a little limited with hardly any choice, except normal croissants and cheese, hams etc. HOWEVER, everything considered I would still book here again. Overall 7/10.

  Very good location

  I was there with my mom, sister and niece for one week. It's a very charming hotel with a fantastic location on the square of Richelieu. Beautiful Richelieu park is just a hundred meters away. Rooms are nice. The included breakfast buffet is excellent and the restaurant serves also lunch and supper for a good price and delicious food. I definitely recommend this hotel.
