Horrible experience, avoid at all costs!!

We booked this hotel because it advertises as 3 star and dog friendly. We stayed 2 nights with our two pugs. In reality, the rooms are tiny and very worn, with outdated design. There is old carpeting and small, uncomfortable bed. Definitely not worth the price! On top of that, we were treated very rudely by the owners. They harassed us about our dogs and went into our room when we weren't there. All this because the maid found some dog hair and tiny bit of dirt on the bed, and despite the extra dog charge of 40! In short, don't book here if you don't want to be ripped off and harassed.

    Ideal for stop over

We needed a stop over on our journey through France. This hotel worked really well. Booked Dinner bed and breakfast as it was a Monday and many restaurants are closed. Overall did what we needed. The staff are friendly and helpful. The reception staff are fluent in English which helped us.

    Good hotel, mixed restaurant

Our room was clean and well-maintained, although the WC seat was loose and I still cannot work out how the sink drain was supposed to work. The hotel is in a pleasant garden, but surrounded by suburb and rather noisy during the day; at night, the double glazing keeps any noise out effectively. There were coffee and tea in the room, but no milk or creamer; fortunately, we had brought some. Our evening meal was expensive, but of good quality (70 for two, excluding drinks, which could easily add a lot to that). Breakfast was unexpectedly poor, with a limited selection and bad coffee, for which there is no excuse in France; the bread was also well below the usual excellent French standard. The staff were helpful and friendly throughout. One can certainly stay at worse hotels than this; perhaps avoiding the meals there might help.

awful experience - avoid at all costs

Awful derelict road-side motel at the price of a 4 stars. Rude staff. Avoid at all costs. No lift, no wifi, bland food in the restaurant, noisy rooms (all on the high road), yet they charge 145euros.... Also, COVID measures are not respected.

    NEXT TO A NOISY ROAD

This was a stopover at the end of our holiday and from the image of hotel I paid extra for a balcony and had imagined after a 350 mile drive relaxing on the balcony with a gin and tonic. The hotel is next to a very noisy road which kept us awake for most of the night. I even requested a quiet room and the proprietor should have advised. One of the most disappointing stays.
