  Misleading pictures

  I ahd to spend one night in the region( we were invited for a dinner in Antibes) I have chosen Villa Sophia by the name VILLA and some pictures from the internet-swimming pool , green garden. Huge mistake. This place is what the american s are calling road side cheap motel. Villa Sophia is not cheap but is a motel with small rooms, missing personal ( I had many luggage and needed a helping hand. The lady from the reception ( the owner s daughter , bitterly helped after she expanded me that they don t have staff. On one side there is the road ( terrible noise at nigh ) on the other side there are some tired trees trying to hide salvage garden. Very small cheap rooms, highly questionable cleanness . run down installations and a long endless corridor. If this is a villa than I am Michael Jordan and by mistake I stayed one night there.

  Hotel muy tranquilo!!

  En nuestro viaje por la Costa Azul, apostamos por este tranquilo Hotel, situado estratégicamente a medio camino de las zonas que queríamos conocer. El hotel tiene una distribución de planta baja, la habitación, que daba directamente a la zona de la piscina (al igual que el resto), era amplia al igual que el baño. Un hotel muy tranquilo y a escasos 15min en coche de Antibes.Tanto el personal como la atención, excepcionales.

  PERFECT STAY

  The hotel manager makes you feel home. Food quality is supreme and the swimming pool is a real treat. Rooms are cozy and always taken care of, while the staff is smiling with courtesy to any request, and that (!) makes a real difference. Good job, Ill be back.

  Top notch

  I guess we wouldn`t have found this little gem without Tripadvisor`s help. Of course, it is located right on some départementale road and some noise from passing cars, trucks or motorcycles reaches us, but the compound`s walls efficiently filters most of it. and yes there are some high voltage cables hanging not so far away in the air. that`s more or less everything I can tell from a negative point of view. Cause this is some kind of paradise hotel. with very nice, cosy rooms, with terraces around a small but very nice swimming pool. very good beds and linens, cute bathroom, and everything so perfectly clean. Airconditioning and wifi worked perfectly well. There`s a Nespresso coffee machine as well as an electric kettle in every room, but you can also freely make coffee at the breakfast buffet until 10 PM. and have some fruit or muffins for free. there is quite a lot of choice at the breakfast buffet by the way, by any French standard. We got a very hearty and efficient welcome by the staff. all in all, worth much more than 3 stars from my point of view

  Geldgeil und sehr unfreundlich

  Unbelievable!!! Coming from Germany for a wedding close to the Hotel. Directly after the check-in I recognized that it was the wrong hotel. I did not use the room at all and asked the guy at the reception to cancel the room. He refused that and was swearing in French (which I understood). I had to pay Full Price for nothing!!! Zero customer friendly and super unflexible. The hotel was nice but guy at the reception surely not.
