  Delightful stay - very friendly, amazing views, very clean and the best breakfast!

  We stayed one night at the hotel with our two children. The room was located dowstairs with direct access to the seafront. Although the decor in the rooms is dated, it is clean and pleasant and we slept very comfortably. The hosts were lovely and very helpful. The breakfast was fantastic, fresh croissant, freshly baked madeleines, wonderful bread and many more, all of it served in the main room with bay windows overlooking the ocean. What a great start of the day. We strongly recommend this hotel.

  Great location for the beach

  One night stay in ground floor sea view room - but you could really only see the view standing up! 1 minute walk to the beach though. Quiet location. The room was modern and the bed comfy. If the weather had been warmer it would have been a wonderful stay. If you want a sea view from bed - book a room on the 1st floor.

  A little bit of paradise

  I brought my mother here for a two night stay in September. The hotel could not be better situated for access to the coastal hiking trail with magnificent views, especially at low tide. The hotel is steps from a small municipal beach, and there are many other inlets where people swim and surf. This place is only a few kilometers from La Baule but so much quieter and more natural. We came by train and taxi, and were able to do what we wanted by foot, but also benefited from the generosity of the owner, who gave us a ride so we could go have lunch on a day that the two nearest restaurants were closed. If it does rain--we were lucky it did not--the hotel has a lovely lounge with a Panoramic view of the coats. We hope to come back!

  superb

  A lovely hotel,brilliant position,excellent staff , who couldn`t do enough for their visitors. Everything was just right and we would highly recommend you stay here.We stayed here for 1 week and will definately stay again another time.

  Great location but not at all cheap.

  So the hotel is right on the shore and some of the rooms have a large balcony (ours was larger than our room!). But - the room was small and cheaply furnished (plastic doors etc) - which perhaps was not what I expected when paying E180 fro one night. Breakfast was more of the same - completely DIY from machines and nothing home made. Butter from little plastic pats, mass produced jam, coffee from a machine (filthy by the way) - everything was done for maximum efficiency and minimal effort. I wouldn't mind if I wasn't paying E14 per head. Service was perfectly friendly, but aside from showing us our room and taking the payment at the end of the process, there wasn't any.
