    A good value, friendly venue.

Stayed here when a group of friends decided to take advantage of the hot spell recently. We were doing a quick trip on our motorbikes of France, Germany and Belgium. We were greeted upon arrival and shown to out room, and as we were later than planned, advised to book if we wished to eat at their restaurant. Our shared room was clean and pleasant if somewhat functional. Restaurant supplied a lovely Menu for 21.50 and some nice cold beer. The buffet continental breakfast was excellent also. All in all it provided a good value for money experience with friendly staff. One word of caution - having booked through an online site, it had stated secure parking. It was not, it was a private car park, but not secure. Fortunately we had taken locks with us.

This B&B / Hotel is spotless

A few hours by train from Paris, the beautiful town of Montherme is delightfully french and looks like it has been copied from a Van Gogh painting. This hotel was built in the 1800s and used as a coach house before becoming what it is today. Despite the town being occupied and suffering badly during both world wars, miraculously its beautiful historic buildings such as this one remain. The old part is endearing with its original hand hewn timber workmanship and wonky floors, the new part is character filled and the whole place is spotless. The staff are local and as none of my party speak french they were all very patient and encouraging. They are proud of their home town and the Ardenne area which features well in the menu. We loved our weekend here, after Paris in summer, the spectacular rivers and mountains, cool evenings and gentle folk of the Ardenne region soothed our souls. Dont come here looking for 5 star but do come here for nature in her magnificence and good old fashioned hospitality.

    Great Country Hotel

We had a couple of nights here recently and loved it. Very peaceful, hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. Hotel is spotless, rooms are comfortable and quiet. Good menu selection in the restaurant and food well prepared and presented. The outdoor eating area is nice on a warm day.

Clean, good food, good facilities. Ideal location for our cycling team.

Congratulations to the hotel manager Julien who took care of us during our three days of cycling with our team of 18. The hotel, rooms and facilities are really clean which is essential and not evident in french hotels. Meals, especially diners were delicious. All questions, also small practical ones were dealt with without hesitation. Warmly recommended.

Fine rooms, limited breakfast and info needs an opdate.

6 persons en route to Paris on bicycles and service car stopper here for one Night. Check in 16 as agreed impossible due to close-Down untill 17. Host said bad info from Hotels.com, but as you can see from other guests this was also a problem in 2017 ! So its the host that gives bad info for more than a year now. Also a problem with storing the expensive bikes. Even when the hotel had agreed on E-mail that bikes could be talen to the rooms it was prohibited by the host, and and the bikes instruments could not be charged with electricity for next days ride! Thank You very much ! Fine rooms view and bath but breakfast (6 euro extra/pax) limited to baguettes (without cheese or ham/salami) , jam, cerial, yougurt, croissants, no eggs or bacon/ sausage was too expensive regarding the limited choice. A management Update will give the hotel a lift.
