  Great place and Host

  When you arrived the host made you feel very welcome and explained everything carefully Pool welcoming but could do with some parasols for shade but only a small criticism. Room very clean and tidy. Nice breakfast served and explain were we could have s meal the night before. All great place and very good value for money. Would I stop again definitely yes

  Highlight of the Loire Valley

  We enjoyed one night at Hotel du Cygne in September. We were greeted as if we were old friends. Edward was so gracious with his time and gave us real insight on being French~! The room was newly renovated and had a great shower! Our host recommended two restaurants and we opted for Au relais d'Artemis. Probably our finest meal of the trip! Close to Chateau de Chambord and Chateau de Chenonceau. We would stay here again and explore more of the valley. Great value and perfect location.

  Very good experience

  We stayed here for just 1 night but our overall impression was good. The ameneties are good (clean rooms, parking spaces in the hotels courtyard, bathtub, etc. ). What we really liked was the managers very positive and client-oriented attitude, really friendly, helpfull and eager to please his clients. We travelled with our cat-a brittish shorthair- and he was very ok with that and let us stay without charging for the pet. There are restaurants nearby. For travellers who are passing through and are looking for a couple of nights stay, we highly recommend this place.

  Lovely little 2star hotel. Excellent for visiting the Loire Chateaux. In a pleasant village with half a dozen restaurants of varying prices. The hotel itself is comprised of a main building with 2 upper floors, with fairly steep stairs. Dont be put off by the rather drab stairway, our room and bathroom were lovely and immaculately clean with a huge comfortable bed. There are single story rooms arranged around the courtyard, with outside tables for breakfast and to use in the evening. There is a pleasant indoor breakfast room. The swimming pool is big enough for the number of clients and has an indoor shower and toilet area, sunloungers and chairs and inflatables and toys to fit children of all ages! Breakfast was standard continental, juice , yoghurt, croissants, jam, bread and coffee ,generous and excellent. Very friendly family run. English spoken. Acid test.. would we use it again? ...Absolutely

  A delightful place

  Situated overlooking the ancient covered market place this hotel is perfect for visiting various chateaux in the Loire. For a 2 star hotel it offers very spacious rooms with all the extras you would expect from a higher rating: Extra pillows,free WiFi, a desk and chair, bath and a large free car park. The hotel does not have a restaurant but there is a very good one-Chez Jaques just across the road. The breakfast was good and the prices reasonable. A very friendly welcome and lovely staff.
