  A lovely stay

  We chose this hotel for two nights so that we could watch the Tour de France. We had a lovely stay, following the recommendations, we booked a room with a river view and it was delightful. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. A real plus was that the free wifi worked perfectly. We ate from the special residents menu, 24 Euros for three courses, it was excellent and so good to have well flavoured food without highly spiced sauces. Breakfast was fresh and good. We were pleased to have chosen this lovely place.

  A brilliant Hotel

  Our second visit and again we were not disappointed. Monsieur and Madame Embach and their staff could not have been more helpful or charming. We again chose a river view room for the wonderful views and flashes of kingfishers wizzing past. The rooms are modern and very well appointed and so quiet. The food was to die for, wonderfully cooked and presented and in the morning the self service breakfast was a sight to behold. We cannot recommend this idyllic place highly enough.

  Charming little hotel where you don't expected it

  It is very charming spot. A previous mill. It is a restaurant and a hotel in the middle of nowhere with a good restaurant. Service is good and the hotel room is very modern. We saw rhe pictures on internet but the place exceeded our expectations.

  Very comfortable, great hospitality

  We wanted a good Michelin Guide place to eat and stay after visiting some of the very moving WW1 sites and this place most definitely fitted the bill. The restaurant, L'Auberge du Moulin Haut, was excellent. The bedrooms are in a modern annexe in a complex of otherwise older an prettier buildings. Our room was very well appointed and comfortable, with everything working well (including really good internet!). We slept well, helped by our lovely dinner no doubt, and had a particularly nice breakfast. Our hosts are very charming and looked after us very well. We'll do our best to come here again!

  Ideal stop over

  Once we found the hotel, which seems to run under two entities, one of which wasn't sign posted off the main road, the stay was very enjoyable. The room was clean, food excellent and staff very pleasant. A really tranquil spot in the heart of the countryside. My only observation was that our room, had two single beds which didn't seem very wide.
