Awesome hospitality. Wonderful food.I was the first customer to check in when it re-opened in December (it opens December to Easter, then June to September) and it quickly filled up with regular guests (a tell tale sign!). The hotel is well run. Donatella, one of the owners, is such a lovely person who is always there to help you and to guide you on all the things you can do in Moena (and there are lots of them!). In fact all the staff are great. Hospitality, spa facilities, cleanliness and attention to details are outstanding for sure. But there is one thing that makes this hotel like no others: the food. Everything is home-made. The freshly baked croissants you get in the morning are the best I have ever had in my life (and I travelled the whole world around I guarantee you). When dinner time comes, get ready to be surprised! It's a wonderful culinary experience every single day. You will wish to have a lion's appetite (by the way do consider ordering half portions). If you are looking at Moena for your holidays - great place for family and friends, indeed - look no further than this hotel.

good, but..it is true that the food was good and the staff kind and helpful, but for us hotel wasn't worth its price. The room, in our opinion, was nothing special, does not meet our expectations especially as it comes for 'design' (we expected something more sophisticated). You have to pay additional fee if you want to use wellness area from 7.30pm plus 10euro for obligatory bathrobe there which should be included in the price of the hotel..

Great Food, great welcome, lovely management and staffThis was our second visit, four years after the first and delighted to say the hotel is even better. The food is fantastic, interesting and very generous (appreciated on a ski trip). Everything else worked well and we had great help from the management and staff. Many thanks!

A pleasure to be back !As the title implies, this was not our first time at " LA Serenella"- but our fourth. This hotel has it all, located only 400 metres from the town square but with great views of the both Moena and the surrounding Dolomites ; the service here is excellent , with Donatella (the owner) always ready to offer suggestions on the many things to do and places to see in and around this jewel of a town. The welcoming feeling one gets from the staff seems very natural and not contrived, it really made us feel appreciated . But perhaps the best thing that "La Serenella" has to offer is it's chef: Jan. He is present each morning at every breakfast to cook up crepes, pancakes, bacon and eggs etc etc, when added to the several different types of jams, marmalades, nutella, fresh toast coffees, are enough to keep anyone going till supper. The extravaganza of dishes which is submitted each night by Jan for dinner is really extraordinary. Italians know how to cook and Jan is a master at it and I think that he /it is one of the main reasons why this place is to be recommended.
