Clean hotel but bad location and very loud trains

Hotel was located a ten minute drive from the main town. It was very clean however the noise of the trains going by the hotel kept us awake most of the night. 24 hour access as they give you keys and a nice breakfast. Friendly staff, however I wouldn't stay here again because of the location and trains.

    Very friendly family-run hotel

We stayed at this hotel for one night while cycling through Italy. We arrived in the rain with 5 wet bikes, and the staff helped us get our bikes into a back room, to keep our bikes safe. We had just made the reservation that morning. The staff spoke very good English. The location is not ideal -- it's up a big hill, and there is a train right across the street. That did not bother us at all (I love the sound of trains) -- but they do put earplugs in the room if you need them. The breakfast was fine -- croissants, yogurt, breads and cereals. The coffee was strong. ;-) There was a nice restaurant next store. (It doesn't look like anything special from the outside, but the folks there were very friendly, the food was good, and they had some sort of karaoke / professional singer thing going on.) Overall, our criteria are: cleanliness and friendliness, and this hotel scored a 5 out of 5 on both counts.

    Quite and cosy

Nice place, nice people, we really enjoyed it. If you´re allergic to cats, they have cats in the reception area. To have aircondition in the room you had to pay 5 euro extra per. night. The cleanliness was excellent! Free parking,

    June in Desenzano

Old fashioned hotel, very noisy because of trains (very close to windows!!) and traffic road just in front of building. Breakfast is best plus. Staff is kind, english not very well spoken. Generally speaking, ad experience

    Bad location and very noisy

We stayed here for one night and booked last minute as most places were full. The rooms are okay, however the location is very far from the city centre and transport to get there is difficult. Additionally, theres a trainline right in front of the hotel with many trains passing by creating a lot of noise, even inside the rooms (although they seem to be aware of this and leave you earplugs). Lastly, the owner was very unfriendly and unhelpful and you need to check out at 10am already. Would not come back or recommend it to others.
