A quaint placeI stayed here for one night. The room was quaint, the bathroom was great. Views from Room 3 were across the village square. The staff were friendly. Breakfast was an additional 9 for a continental buffet style spread. Stairway was step and narrow so could be an issue if you have mobility issues.

Nice, quiet comfortable hotelWe have stopped at the Hotel de la Foret on a number of occasions over the last few years. The hotel is very well presented, clean and comfortable, with nice rooms. Senonches is a quiet village but a really nice place to stay. There is no receptionist until 6pm, but the hotel will give you a combination number to let you into reception, and leave your room keys for you, so it isn't an issue. We have only dined in the restaurant on one occasion, but enjoyed our meals. The breakfast is good, with warm, fresh croissants and a good choice of continental fare. We would recommend the Fox & Frog bar next door for drinks and meals.

Comfortable stay in pretty hotelWe stayed one night. The room was a good size and comfortable. We had an evening meal (set menu) which was absolutely excellent. The village of Senonches is nice for a walk around. The only reason for giving 4 stars is that the wifi was extremely "flakey" which we didn't expect in a hotel like this

Back to old FranceWe usually use cheap chains ( B&B hotels for example) when travelling to and fro to our house in France, but decided to have a change on our way home and seek out a Logis. This one is typical of old rural France, nothing fancy just a reliable old family run hotel that has seen some modernisation. Despite it being Tuesday (kitchens open for hotel guests only) we both had perfectly nice meals (I fish, she sirloin) with a good small bottle of pink. Breakfast was excellent, everything could wish. Our room was totally adequate and comfortable and despite the tv being so small a telescope would have helped and an unruly bathroom door which sprang open without warning, we were happy. Nice pub, interesting village, pleasant staff, altogether good value.

Lovely hotel with great staffStopped off on the way home from a business trip, welcomed with enthusiasm by the owner, who was helpful, friendly and very efficient. I like this village, slightly out of the way for the Calais run, but worth it for the peace and quiet and excellent food. Ate in the restaurant, it was offering a limited menu, but it was very tasty and amazing value. Recommend it highly.
