  Fantastic Beachfront Hotel

  Stayed in La Bussola for 5 days this August. Fantastic property, We were given the suite, which was one of the biggest rooms I'd seen in Italy. Room was very clean, had everything you needed (although could do with Tea/Coffee Facilities). We stayed full-board. Food was good and plentiful, although the Breakfast and Salad Buffet for lunch and dinner were repetiitve. The owners and staff were very welcoming and made you feel special. Pool was sparkling clean, and the pool attendant watched out for the kids. Vanessa from the kids club was lovely, and kept our little ones well entertained. The beach was fantastic, and the hotel was right next to the shopping promenade, for night-time walks and concerts. Overall fantastic hotel, and will definitely be back.

  Another year and another wonderful stay

  We spent a week in the La Bussola and booked it in advance by over 6 months. We had 5 rooms and we managed to communicate with the owners before hand to ensure we had rooms together on the 3rd floor. This is a small family run hotel located on thebneach in Lido De Jesolo. We stayed here last year and loved it so much we returned. The hotel is very clean and basic but everything you need. The staff from the owners, reception, bar, restaurant, pool were all very welcoming and friendly, it really does make a difference. This year the restaurant was buffet style but also had a grill outside that catered for more personal meal choices, however the food is very good and lots to choose from. My personal opinion would be to have more meat choice on the grill instead of fish most nights, although I never went hungry as the food is very good, we loved it. The hotel has a nice pool and area but what we really like is the location on the beach and allocation of the sun beds, perfect for us. The sunbeds are included in your room charge too. We also went to aqualandia and Venice by boat for the day which is more than enough in the week we had, we just enjoyed the hotel and resort, we especially enjoyed the live entertainment on Thursday night too. A lovely hotel, great location and we will definately be back!

  Solid 3 stars with beach right next to the hotel

  The best thing with the hotel is its location right next to the beach. Food at a decent level, typical for holiday hotels (we met similar food in hotels in Spain and Greece). In the case of lunches and dinners, two chefs prepare pasta and grilled dishes live. The weakest was the breakfast - the same every day. Fine staff. Very friendly, helpful and engaged people. Average hotel decor and equipment, a bit worn out, but very clean and taken care of. Average internet connection. Parking not very big, but it is a standard in this area. It's ok when you don't want to move your car every day. Not a big bathroom, a small shower (especially for a large man). All the small inconveniences are rewarded by the beach, which has a gentle descent to the water, and warm water (we were in July) which you have right at the hotel doorstep. We got a room with a balcony facing the sea and had a supereb view. In the area, a lot of places where you can eat something. At a distance of about 500 m a pier, from which in the morning, at about 9:30 you can take a boat to Venice (as I remember, adult return ticket was for 30 EUR and a child ticket for 17 EUR). We spent 5 days in the hotel and had a wonderful time.

  wondeful stay

  I did choose to go to La Bussola for few days after reading the reviews here to see how really is it. And I have a very nice surprise. First of all I would mention the stuff who is very friendly and helpful. Everybody has a smile to share. The hotel has a good location, near the beach, there are different options for sunbath and swim (the pool or the sea). The food was very tasty, for lunch and dinner there are also things prepared in front of you. You can eat in the restaurant or on the terrace outside. I had a single room, not very big but with a balcony and with the usual things like TV, fridge. What I missed was a glass or a cup in the room, but it wasn't a big problem. Everything was very clean and they did the cleaning and changed the towels daily. The Internet is free and worked very well. For sure i'd like to come back.

  My favorite place

  I love this hotel! It feels like home there! The owners are always around and take good care about the guests! If I could I would spend the whole summer there. The food is amazing and the beach is as quiet as you can get it in jesolo.
