  Basic, good value hotel

  This is a clean basic hotel rather dated but comfortable. We were the only guests and had a room overlooking the harbour / port. Moudros has an end of the world feel about it and sees few visitors. We were visiting the War Cemetery nearby and To Kyma (The Wave) makes a reasonable base for this purpose. Breakfast was served on the terrace and was ok. Dining options are limited to the hotel taverna and another taverna next door. The staff were friendly and helpful and rates are very low.

  Words Fail Me

  I'm not one top write poor reviews. But this place was pretty terrible. This was a real low-light on am otherwise enjoyable trip around Northern Greece. Firstly, there is very little to do in Moudros. I wouldn't advise visiting if you have no transport. We had to get a taxi to the nearest beach! Despite what the website for this hotel says, it is not beside Moudros beach. There is no beach! And despite what their booking.com description says, there is no hotel shuttle or teammates. From start to finish, staff we're antagonistic, at times downright rude. Our room was disgraceful. Mould on the walls. AC unit constantly dripping. Someone else's stuff was left in the fridge. Bed was uncomfortable. Your view is moat likely the building site next door. Only the owner speaks English and he was only there for one interaction with us, smoking behind the counter. I had to go into a rather grubby kitchen to pay using my credit card. There is a bar and restaurant attached and our door had gaps all around it so be prepared to listen to bar noise well into the night. Cracked balcony door. Ancient facilities. We really had an awful time.

  Great value and really friendly staff

  We visit Murdrous to see the WW1 cemetery and stayed at Kyma. We have nothing but happy memories of the staff and service. Yes it's basic but it was clean and great value I would have no worries in recommending this quaint old style hotel / taverna. A hint for travellers Murdrous is a small village and no local beach so recommend hiring a car, loved the island, it's old fashion Greece rate our stay 8/10

  Great Value in Authentic Greek Village

  We stayed in Moudros as we were visiting the nearby WW1 Cemetery. We have nothing but praise for the owner and his staff, they made us feel really welcome and . yes the accommodation is on the basic side, but is was clean, comfortable and above all great value, it served our purpose perfectly. Please note Moudros is a small fishing village and does not have a local beach, I would strongly recommend you hire a car for your visit. Lemnos as a whole is a real gem, love the food, people and small villages, its old school Greece. We will return. 8/10
