  perfect!

  We stayed with four kids and it was a perfect holiday! Top class service and a family atmosphere, great food, super friendly staff,... Ask for hiking tips! Staff organized our mini-canyoning and arranged everything.

  Nice hotel

  Stayed only one night but the hotel seemed nice and clean. I had a large room with a comfy bed. The breakfast was typical German breakfast with plenty of choice with a mix of hot and cold food available. Would recommend.

  Perfect stay on New Years Eve week

  We had a perfect ski family stay at Krone Hotel. Considering the most rated and busiest week of the year, the Family Lingg has done an excellent work, organizing every single detail for the families stay. Although the dinner service sometimes were a bit slow, it was forgotten with the Delicious well prepared Michelin dishes (5 course dinner). Our maitre - Jacef - was super efficient and attentive. The spa at rooftop was a checkpoint everyday apres-ski. An unique and peaceful place to relax and take a nap. The rooms were nice and clean. On tHe New Years Eve we had a luxury dinner with traditional musique and an huge firework at midnight. Weve just missed some entertainment on the others nights, so we left this suggestion to be a perfect stay. A few staff speak English, but French is a good alternative. A perfect choice to ski in Alrberg, 25min drive to Warth ski resort by car and you could ski to Lech and St Anton, all linked together. Happy new year!

  Sophisticated spa relaxation....

  Back for a third visit to the Hotel Krone in Au, it did not disappoint. With a mixed holiday programme of mountain trekking, swimming, cycling, spa and recovery, we find the hotel ticks all the boxes. You can hire bikes free, the bus pulls up right outside the hotel (free transport card offered for the week), you can jump on mountain lifts, trek up and down according to your whim and sample breath taking scenery in perfect June sunshine. Plus the fourth floor spa, outdoor nature pool (a delicious 20C chill dip) and indoor pool combine to make Hotel Krone a haven of tranquillity and recovery! Plus the all-inclusive breakfast and dinner options are terrific quality and value, washed down by a terrific selection of top Austrian wines and chilled beer...

  Simply a bliss

  Even if I try I will not find any negative aspect of my stay in this hotel. I visited it at the end of Feb/Mar 2019 and totally fell in love with it! Starting with accommodation: a beautiful very spacious room with a mountain view and a large bathroom equipped with all you may need. Large bathtub and a lovely touch of locally produced bio cosmetics that allow you to smell the aroma of the Voralbergish Alps. If that's not enough hotel offers you to choose customized pillows to make sure you will sleep like a baby. I've chosen one filled with herbs from their bio garden and was falling asleep feeling the amazing alpine aromas. In the room, I was greeted with the welcome message and a bottle of lotion made from alpine herbs. Lovely touch again. I also appreciate that the room was equipped with bathrobes, slippers and a bag with spa/pool towels. Very useful!! Dining: What a delicacy! During my stay, I was impatiently waiting for the mealtimes. Starting with breakfast: a huge buffet with everything you could imagine. Cold and warm. Including local cheeses and ham, smoked salmon, eggs in all forms, a huge variety of bread, sweets, and fruits. It was not possible to try it all. Dinners: High-class gastronomy. Local tastes with a modern gastronomy touch. Compliments to the chef!! Very good Austrian wines. Great salad bar (I appreciated it very much as I like to eat smtg else than only meat and cheese when I am on my skiing vacation). Hospitality: Simply amazing!!!!!!!! From a smiling and lovely reception desk. Service staff dressed in dirndl - I loved that. From being accompanied to my room, welcoming gift and a lovely message left in the room toa welcome drink offered by the owners. Their story about the hotel and their journey to support the local community and making the hotel being absolutely ecological. To the absolute care of the small details like assigning the Polish-speaking waiter to my table. BTW Jacek the waiter was an absolute star!!!!! So nice, so professional with a warm touch!!! He deserves a raise :-D Jacek to bye cudowny!! to bya ogromna przyjemno!!! To the beautifully dressed table on the day of my birthday (still don't know how did the know?) and a farewell message. Infrastructure: THE SPA My goodness!!!!!! This is just too beautiful!!! Spacious, peaceful, calming. Never seen anything like this. Saunas with a direct view of the mountains or stars. Fireplace (i loved it!!!!!!), tones of fresh towels, teas, fruits, bubbles etc. If they didn't close it at 11 pm I would stay there till the morning. A bliss. As I skier I can't skip the issue of ski room. The one at Hotel Krone is perfect. Located on the ground floor (so you don't have to walk on stairs in your ski boots - this is so dangerous) spacious, with modern ski boots warmers (enough for everyone) large comfortable benches and enough of space for your skis. The best I ever see so far. From it, I was going directly out of the hotel to reach a ski bus stop located directly outside the hotel. Cultural engagement: I was skiing so, I was not able to enjoy all the animations prepared by the hotel, like the local cultural excursions, offered by he owners, but I was more than touched when I got the chance to listen to the Mozart concert on my birthday performed by young promising musicians coming from the Conservatory of Voralberg. This kind of cultural patronage of the arts I admire from all my heart. I didn't mention the pool, the fireplace in the lobby area, the afternoon tea offered by the hotel and probably a million other things that were lovely but to experience that all you need to come to Hotel Krone yourself. I was absolutely touched by the hospitality of the owners that were there every day interacting with the quests. Speaking perfectly German, English, French. They with their always smiling staff were creating a homely atmosphere. Like a visit to the friends' house, really. Whenever I think about my ideal skiing holidays there is Hotel Krone coming to my mind. Comfortable, warm, friendly, and with THE SPA!!!! I cannot wait to be back.
