  Fantástico hotel en Allgau. Muy buenos servicios. Excelente entorno. Elevada calidad gastronomica. Me falto una carta de almohadas porque las del hotel eran muy blandas, pero solo un lunar en los magníficos días que hemos pasado en este lugar de ensueño en Allgau.

  Nice hotel, slow dinner service

  Positives: The rooms were nice (no a/c, no screens in the windows...which is typical for Europe, so not unexpected). Bathrooms we're nice and beds comfortable. Wonderful views. They offer a backpack that they will fill with a lunch for you, but you have to turn it in at dinner (something we discovered to late). AMAZING breakfast. Best breakfast anywhere I have ever been. Pool and spa area were beautiful, but we didn't get the opportunity to try them out. Negatives: Dinner service was SLOW. Even when we expressed multiple times that we were exhausted from our flight and had only got an hour of sleep over the past 36+ hours, it still took over 2 hours to get thru dinner. The tables around us were served more quickly, but not that much more quickly. Plus, the assign your dinner table and you sit at the same table every night. Not enough parking.

  Outstanding spa area and restaurant

  A group of friends visiting the area, we took advantage of the fabulous spa and each booked several treatments. Everyone from reception, to spa and bar staff were amazing. The restaurant is outstanding from the buffet breakfast where you can also order omelettes etc to the five course meal in the evening with quality wine choices. The view of the mountains from the indoor/outdoor pool is awesome. A great spa area overall. Areas for improvement; - parking!

  Anniversary stay

  My husband and I stayed here to celebrate our anniversary. I wish we could have stayed longer! All of the staff we encountered were very polite and helpful. We arrived early and our bags were held until our room was ready. We borrowed bikes from the hotel and rode over to the main part of town for a tour of Neuschwanstein Castle. Rooms were impeccably clean and all amenities that we needed were available. A five course dinner was included and this was very good, but this did take several hours. We enjoyed music and a drink in the lounge after dinner. The breakfast was outstanding! And of course, the spa and pool areas were incredible. There are multiple co-ed saunas, steam rooms, showers, and relaxation areas as well. We enjoyed a beautiful view of the mountains while soaking in the pool. I appreciated that we were able to use the pool/spa beyond our checkout time (as our train did not depart until later), but would have benefited from a better locker room. Overall we had an excellent stay and have no complaints! While staying here you truly do feel like a King!

  Almost perfect

  You think it is in the middle of nowhere, but it is actually close to great bike tours (do not know about hiking, I am not a fan, so haven't tried), options for swimming in the lake (s), or sightseeing. The surrounding is fantastic. On a rainy day, you can enjoy the gym, the great wellness area or the treatments. The bad side - (too) many others have the same ideas both on sunny and on rainy days. It is quiet, I guess it is not allowed for children, because there were none, but not sure, you need to double check the hotel's policy. Stylish, clean , only the bathroom/toilet in the room is separated with partially mat glass door only; for me not enough privacy. Great breakfast incl. fresh juices and bobbles. For dinner, not always successful fusions, but ambitious, and with options and good wine selection. A lounge with great cocktails and cool background music. Staff somewhat fake polite. Terrible internet - you cannot even download your newspaper in the breakfast room - if that is important to you like it is to me, it can really spoil otherwise great stay.
