  Average, but lovely

  Hotel is in the centre of the village, full of hospitality, they even called us if we're ok, because it was really late when we arrived. On the downside bathroom is really small, closed only with "accordion", smallest shower I've ever seen. My proposal for better atmosphere: some music with breakfast and waitress, who knows at least one word of english.

  Warm Greek hospitality!

  A modest budget hotel, so expect no luxury in your room and bathroom. But everything else is top! The warm welcome, the service, the friendlyness, clean (bath-)room with balcony ... And an amazing breakfast, with homemade marmelades, cheese pie, zucchini pie, and freshly squeezed orange juice. Plus the nicest taramas I ever tasted at diner. If necessary they are attentive of food intolerance. Hotel Katia is situated behind a square, just a few steps from the seaside with bar and terrace, and a beach a little further away. No nightlife, Afissos is a quiet relaxing village.

  October is really low season

  The hotel seems very good but we were there in mid-October and the area is completely empty. Difficult to find a decent place to eat and when you do find something - there's no variety. The host was very generous welcome. Breakfast is quite good. We were recommended by the host a place to dinner - Marabu restaurant. It was a bad choice, at least in October. They has like 15% of the menu and food was below average. I just don't understand the places were the shower curtain is larger than the shower and you end up with whole toiler floor being wet. When there are parents and children have to take shower - it's quite a mess and it doesn't dry so quickly.

  Truly Hospitable - Exceptional Breakfast

  So close to the village center and the waterfront. The owners were very hospitable, kind and always smiling. We were just o couple so we got a small room on the first floor. This was a plus as the hotel doesn't have an elevator. The rooms were cleaned every day and our double bed was king-size. I wouldn't mind a larger shower though. Breakfast was an experience on itself. Every day we were suprised by the different homemade pies, the sweets, the delicacies. Thank you for your hospitality and we would definitely come again.

  OUR SECOND HOME

  For the past 10 years, Afissos is the choice for our summer holidays. The place to stay always and only hotel "Katia"! It would be difficult, absolutely impossible actually to find a reason to change. We have found all we need, and so much more, for a splendid 10 days fammilly holiday. Antonis and the whole team, make our stay exceptional and there is always something new for the next year. Absolute champions of hospitality!
