  2 Weeks at the Iruda Hotel

  This is a very nice hotel. very clean, modern. fabulous bathroom with huge shower (and a tub, heated tile floors. Shops and restaurants are mostly about 3-5 blocks away. 7-11 is 1/2 block away. The hotel is located on the old road South from Seoul. It is lined with auto repair shops. But this will change because a huge apartment complex is nearing completion a few blocks away. A lot of storefronts are closed and undergoing renovation. The hotel has a medium size breakfast with Western and Korean items. The restaurant is not open for lunch or dinner. The staff is friendly and helpful but with limited English proficiency. We had a good time negotiating the delivery menus. It always worked out, but usually with some confusion. Bus from airport stops at the main train station, cab to hotel is about $2.30. There a train station about 300-500 meters away. Cab to airport was about $75

  Comfortable stay with no frills..

  The hotel is a fairly new and very well kept. The rooms were comfortable and modern with a large shower/tub area. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly throughout the hotel. Breakfast was not fancy but sufficient to get the day started with a meal. The only downside to the hotel is the location. Its not in Seoul and about 40 minute subway ride to Seoul station. If you are working in the area and need a place to sleep without doing much more, this hotel will be fine. If you are looking for tourist attractions and shopping, it would be better to stay closer to town. Overall, I would stay here again for business travel and its proximity to clients. Otherwise, I would stay in Seoul to get a city experience and convenience.

  Business Trip to Korea

  A very clean hotel. Everything was nice. Staff was very friendly at all levels. I like the most is the room is very very clean. The minus part is that its near to the train and subway which may be a bit noisy at times. Overall worth the value for this very clean hotel.

  Business Trip to Anyang, South Korea

  During my recent business trip to Anyang, I stayed at the Hotel Iruda. Very nice, and spacious room . I like the bathroom layout paired with the big bath tub. The view from my 9th floor window was superior...facing the mountain range and a glimpse of the city street specially at night, it is illuminated. The buffet breakfast serves a big variety of dishes from Korean to Western. Also a wide range of drinks to choose from. The staffs were always wearing a smile and always ready to accommodate you. There are nearby convenience stores and restaurants. Also it is near the train station. I will surely book again in this hotel in my next business trip!

  Good, clean hotel, great staff

  It would have been useful to have a microwave in the room. Breakfast consistently good and varied. Laundry completed same day except for holidays. Close to railway station, some a little disturbing at night from some bedrooms.
