  Hotel Iris

  This has to be one of the friendliest hotels in Italy. It is a family run estblishment Father and daughter apear to be operating this medium sized hotel. The rooms have great views looking out over the local country side. It is situated close to centre of the town but far enough away to be in a rural setting. good restaurant is inlcuded here and the breakfast was varied and plenty

  Nice Place

  Stayed for one night and it was exactly what we expected. We had a nice airy room with a lovely view of the surrounding Tuscan countryside. The room was clean, the wifi worked well and the breakfast was adequate.

  Good but hard to find

  The hotel is pretty good: clean, cosy, has friendly stuff but it's extremely hard to find. We had to ask three different people before getting there. I believe they need a bit more of advertisement. The price range is pretty fair: budget travelers can also consider it for a stay.

  Fantastic place to stay

  We recently stayed at the Iris, the hotel was very central, lovely spacious room with a huge comfortable bed and breakfast was teriffic. The staff were fabulous, well informed and catered for our every need. Nancy, the manageress, in particular, took great care of us and nothing was too much trouble. Was exactly what I thought Tuscan hospitality was about. Highly recommend this hotel for friendly staff, great room superb bed and location was ideal for touring around Tuscany.

  Charming and lovely!

  The Iris hotel is quite a trek up a hill so be warned that it can be a little tiring and difficult to get to without a car but if you don't mind walking then it is definitely worth a try. We stayed in one of the rooms with a balcony, I would definitely recommend trying to get one of these rooms, the view is beautiful and the extra ventilation helps at night when you're trying to sleep in the summers. It can get quite warm, our room did not have any AC, but the fan and the open doors of the balcony managed to cool us off quite well. We spent our two nights chilling out with beers and food looking at the stars, it is beautiful. The service was good, the breakfast was simple but perfectly fine and filling. They also do cup noodles and watermelon in case you get peckish in between meals. Down the road there is an art gallery, a great seafood restaurant and a shop that does pizza and great grilled steak. A wonderfully quaint and charming place to stay. Would definitely recommend!
