  Friendly, well appointed hotel, good service

  I have stayed at the Internazionale on several occasions over the past two years and have enjoyed my stay each time. The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming, nothing is too much trouble. The air conditioned rooms are most welcome in the summer months. You need to get up early for the best choice for breakfast as some things have finished by 8am. The restaurant is rather sterile but there is a good family run restaurant across the road (closed Wednesdays) and others within a few minutes drive. It is situated by a busy road junction but the traffic noise is minimal.

  POSITIVES: - Friendly personnel; - Very nice view from rooms at the back of the hotel. NEGATIVES (too many to list, but these are the main ones): - was quoted Eur 55.- for a double bed/ room for single use. One day before arrival, I called asking whether another person could join in the room. I was told by the manager that this was no problem as the room had an en-suite with 2 separate room. When I arrived, they told that the room was actually costing Eur 80.- because of the "extra" en-suite room I was allocated. The manager admitted that he had problanly not been clear with the type of room and the corresponding cost -in fact, I can confirm he never mention once about the overprice related to the use of the second en-suite room. - Water in the shower was not discharging properly and shower was always filled with water; - Strong smell of sewage in the shower; - Poor room isolation (front room door date from the '80s and is made of cardboard?) which allows all noises in the corridor to be heard VERY clearly inside the room; - Old and relatively dirty room carpet; - Although declared as non-smoking hotel, people in other rooms were allowed (or not checked) to smoke with correspinding smoke coming into my room; - Asked for quitest room in the hotel (i.e., not near lift, service room, etc. also given I was told prior to my arrival that they had a party on the eve of my arrival); was given a room away from the party but just next door to the lift (quite noisy at all time of the day); - No restaurant in hotel; was told to go to a nearby restaurant which was only reacheable by crossing a road with high traffic, with no pedestrian crossing facliity and, frankly, quite dangerous, especially at night;

  Lovely Hotel

  We stayed here for 4 nights in August, and it was great. The staff were very friendly, very clean hotel. Breakfast is good. They even let us store 3 push bikes our uncle had lent us. Will definitely stay here again. Grazie per tutto
