  automatic room allocation machine problem

  hello. we were(four persons two rooms) trawelling france and made 7 different reservations in different cities of France. All they are ibis (some ibis styless some ibis budget and one novotel) All are OK. no serious problem and we made the all payments with the same credit card. but when we arrived ibis budget chateaubriant, a bad surprise was waiting for us. it was late night and we need to get the rooms by automotic room machine. I entered the reservation number. it is OK it sees us and our rooms, but the machine did not accept the credid card (which I made all payments and bought petrol and food with) we tried to do it more time but did not achieve. so we had to sleep in the car untill 6:30 early morning. at that time a young lady opened the lights and started to prepare breakfast. we knocked the door and she welcomed us.she gave us the rooms and I made the payment with the same credid card. we explained the situation in english (we dont know french) she understood us and told that she was soory for it, than she tried to explain something in french but we did not understand. so she let us to make late check out. our next destination was Le havre Ibis Budget. not to experience the same problem, we changed our rout plan to be able to arrive the hotel earlier.

  It's what it says on the tin: budget It's clean, easy to park, OK breakfast. Only good for 1 night if you're doing business locally. I wouldn't bring my family there. You have all the French restaurant chains nearby so not too complicated for a quick dinner.

  Small but adequate

  Bedroom was small but adequate, ensuite was a little too small for comfort. Hotel restaurant was closed but nearby Japanese restaurant was superb. Hotel breakfast was better than many. Would use this hotel again.

  A very pleasant 2 night stay...................

  It had been some 5 years since our last stay but how things had changed and for the better. Quite apart from the refurbishment and upgrading to a Hotel Inn Design Resto Novo the most welcome feature being the addition of a restaurant serving lunch and dinner. However, during our visit it was closed on the second evening. A very pleasant 2 night stay, the small ensuite bedroom was clean, bright and came fully equipped. Lovely staff, good food, ample car parking and all within 5 minutes drive from the centre of Chateaubriant. It deserves to succeed.

  So much better than expected Dont over look this Gem.

  As an 'ex ibis' we werent expecting great things just somewhere to rest our heads. How wrong we were. Clean, comfy, adequate size room. The Staff we helpful and friendly and spoke good english (bonus for us). We were very well looked after and catered for. A surprise of an evening meal was offered in their lovely restaurant. Good choices, Well cooked and presented. It saved going out and made a more relaxing evening. Breakfast was good too .... the scrambled eggs highly recommended. A quick 5 minunte drive and we were in the centre of Chateaubriant which was well worth looking round. A beautiful City. We would definitely recommend the 'Hotel Inn Design Resto Novo Chateaubriant'. very well priced, in fact a bargain!
