  Best Stay Yet For Mayo Visit

  First I must say that this is our 3rd trip to Mayo Clinic this year. We have stayed at 3 different hotels, one of which was the Hilton Doubletree which is where we began our stay on this trip but ended up moving to the Hotel Indigo on the second night due to various issues at that hotel, which in large part are issues that you would not expect from a Hilton property. After spending one night at the Doubletree we decided to checkout that morning and try the Hotel Indigo. Since we wanted to stay in the downtown area in a hotel connected by skywalks to the Mayo Clinic, I called Hotel Indigo to see if they could accommodate us for an early check-in as our first appt at Mayo wasnt until 1:15 and we had to checkout at the Doubletree by 11:00. To my surprise, I was advised since we were Mayo patients and they had a vacant room ready, we could check-in early for no additional charge. We were also given a special Mayo room rate with no charge for parking in the parking city ramp. The hotel rate was much lower than what we paid at the Doubletree and that rate was their Mayo rate! Plus we had to pay parking at the Doubletree in their city parking area. I want to give a huge shout out to Josh working the front desk. He answered my call and was so kind and helpful during our short stay. He went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable, even allowing us to extend our late checkout the next day since our last appt was at 3:15 and we had a few hours to kill and needed to do work while waiting, All I can say is that we LOVE this hotel. Rooms were modern look and feel. Felt homey and like the wooden look flooring and no carpeting in the room other than the rug by the bed. King bed was comfortable and enjoyed the chaise lounge in the room. The desk chair was comfortable as needed to work during our stay in between Mayo visits. The bathroom was clean and bright. Water pressure wasnt very good but we made due. Cannot complain. We have to come back to Mayo in 3 mos and you know we will be staying at the Indigo! On top of all of this, having the skywalk connections to Mayo and eateries and shops, made this stay even better!

  Perfect Hotel For Our NYE Getaway

  We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Indigo over NYE. We wanted a little getaway from Minneapolis and from the moment I chatted with their staff to the moment we checked out everyone was SO FRIENDLY! I was really impressed with how new the hotel looked, and we found out from an Uber driver that it is newly remodeled. It really is gorgeous. The room was so spacious and I loved the bathroom. It was perfect space for us to celebrate NYE without being able to go really anywhere with COVID. My only negative about our stay was the pillows. They were pretty stiff, but the comfortable bed made up for it! There was also a carpet in the room that shed everywhere and being allergic to animals, I was a little worried about it being animal hair, however, the front desk insured me it was just the carpet and pets were not allowed on the floor we stayed. I also appreciated the COVID precautions the hotel was taking. I was worried about staying at a hotel, but felt very comfortable here. Lastly, having a CRAVE restaurant right in the hotel is so convenient! I highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Rochester! :)

  Stay here if visiting Mayo or for any reason

  Excellent hotel. Hospitality plus by all staffers. Made reservation on phone directly with hotel and Shanti was so helpful with getting Mayo Clinic visit rate. Met her and Ken at check in. So friendly. Every one wears masks and you feel very safe there. So clean. Rooms are amazing and Crave restaurant has wonderful food and drinks with a great view. Harmony and Michelle were very friendly there as well. I would definitely recommend this hotel and restaurant. Great value and wonderful location and parking.

  Great Hotel - Right Downtown

  I don't usually write reviews, but felt I needed to share my experience at the Rochester Indigo. Everyone that we interacted with was extremely friendly, seemed to enjoy working there, the managers were present and great to talk with as well. The hotel was spotless which was as important to us as anything. We were able to walk to Mayo in the skyway and never had to go outside. We even had dinner at the Crave Restaurant that is directly adjacent to the hotel front desk (same building). I am coming back next month for a follow up and have already booked my room at the Indigo. Thank you for taking such great care of my family.

  Wonderful modern hotel

  Everyone is so friendly that works at this hotel. The rooms are lovely, quiet and comfortable. The gym is very nice. It is super convenient to get all around downtown Rochester when staying here. There are great dining options within an easy outdoor walk or via skyway. Crave is located inside the hotel and is a favorite of mine!
