  Really cool new hotel

  A completely remodeled hotel in a really cool old building. Great service, location and facility. Rooms are completely up-to-date. The restaurant and rooftop deck on the top floor are something special.

  Great place to stay, service was one the best I have seen in a while, they went beyond their obligations to make sure we were ok, the hotel was clean and the rooms were just right, we definitely go back and highly recommend it

  Charming Hotel in the Power & Light District

  Beautifully decorated hotel in the heart of the Power & Light District. Top-notch service from all staff. Be sure to take a peek into the Tudor Ballroom on the fourth floor -- gorgeous stained-glass windows.

  Love love love!!

  The Hotel Indigo is in a prime location in Kansas City, just walking distance from Power & Light, so many restaurants, and overall nice surrounding area. Super affordable, but my favorite part is the extremely friendly and accommodating staff. Be sure to visit the Dott Boss for yummy food and hand-crafted cocktails!! We stay here every time we come to KC and dont plan to change!

  Hotel- Hotel Indigo Kansas City Downtown (Kansas City, MO) Date- February 2021 (2 nights) Overall: 5/5. Excellent. This hotel is a tribute to the Hotel Indigo brand. Ive found my new hotel for while in the Kansas City area! Rewards Club Recognition- 5/5. Excellent. When we checked into the hotel, we were verbally thanked for our loyalty, and we were given 600 Welcome Amenity points. As Spire Elite members, we were also offered a snack and beverage from the bistro next to the front desk. Although a late checkout wasnt available due to the Valentines Day holiday, we felt like valued guests at this property. Staff- 5/5. Excellent. The front desk staff was thorough yet efficient, and every staff member I came across was super kind and friendly. Rosalind was stellar; she went above and beyond to ensure that we were happy with our stay. She is a true asset for this property. Property Appearance & Maintenance- 5/5. Excellent. Exterior- The property is well branded, and the entrance is clean. Interior- The lobby, elevators, and hallways were pristine. No scuffs could be found on walls, and the carpet was spot free. No outstanding maintenance issues were identified. Accommodations- 5/5. Excellent. We were originally assigned a handicapped room, but because it was slow to begin warming up (from having been taken out of service), we were moved to a King Leisure (Nonsmoking) Room on a higher floor. That room was warm, and we quickly were able to make ourselves at home. All the furnishings were in good repair, and the bed and bedding was comfortable. Housekeeping- 5/5. Excellent. The room and floor were immaculately clean. The bathroom was spotless, and toiletries such as toilet paper, facial tissues, soap, shampoo, conditioner, etc. were all provided in a supply adequate for the length of our stay. The housekeepers we interacted with were so friendly! Pool/Gym- not evaluated. Breakfast/Meal Options- 5/5. Excellent. In addition to the bistro next to the front desk that was set up for guest purchases, the restaurant, Dott and Boss, was open and offering breakfast and dinner. We tried the Chicken Alfredo and Hamburger entrees, which were very good. I was tempted to order a second helping! Laundry- not evaluated Computer/Printer/WiFi- 5/5. Excellent. The WiFi signal was strong throughout the hotel, and streaming was smooth. Other- Street parking is complementary during the weekend, and there are meters for during the week. Two parking lots nearby are recommended, and the cost ranges from $10 to $18 nightly. The hotel is pet friendly, charging only $40 per stay; we felt this was a wonderful choice for us and our accompanying little kitten.
