  Worst Experience

  The staff was completely rude. They would not allow my quest to check in ahead of me even with a cc. I feel that they were discriminating against us. Was late and told me they did not want me staying at thier hotel especially if arriving late. Canceled my reservation at the last minute and I had to find alternative housing. Still after 1 week have not refunded my money. Over charges on rooms compared to the quality of the hotel and the staff. Of all the places I have stayed this is by far the worst customer service experience I have ever experienced. NEVER stay here.

  Wonderful potential / beautiful hotel.

  We really are surprised with the number of complaints some reviewers have posted , particularly on TA, but now understand the issues this lodging facility has had for some time. Its STAFFING ! (I rate it a little higher because of the potential rather than actual experience ,which was overall very good ) First off , its a beautiful facility. Unlike some others , Im a big fan of tile flooring. Carpeting , especially in hotels is a nightmare to keep clean. ( We no longer have carpeting in our home ...) During our first visit , in 2019 , what we observed was a real and sincere EFFORT on the part of management, but not enough staff, particularly housekeeping. Thus, while our suite was comfy and HUGE , it was clear that , on the surface all looked ok , a thorough cleaning wasnt done. Again , very comfortable bed and linens. ( AC unit was a little tricky ). Restaurant dinner was not a good experience, sadly. We were the only ones there and our waitperson was very friendly and the presentation was fine - food wasnt. We opted out of having the buffet breakfast the next morning ......... This most recent trip was July , 2020 and theyd recently RE opened after a mandated lengthy shut down due to the pandemic. Again , super friendly and accommodating front desk staff, upgrading us again to a wonderful suite due to our Platinum Elite status. Large , roomy bedroom , living room and bathroom. COVID 19 protocol was in place , masks required and restaurant was closed. We picked up lunch and enjoyed it comfortably in our suite. There had been a number of youngsters in the pool before the heavy rain came. When it cleared , our Grandson was raring to go. Alas , it was a bit chilly and the rains returned soon after so I never got it. He reported a shoe in the pool; kinda dirty . We enjoyed a nice dinner in the room and an overall restful sleep. They are seriously short staffed still anc new management team really tries and works hard. Temp front desk manager was even cleaning the pool early in the morn. Staffing shortages seem to be a direct result of Corvid 19. Partly because of extra bonus on top of unemployment checks making it far more profitable to not work , partly from fear of becoming ill. But management was very accommodating when I alerted them to a couple of housekeeping issues I encountered and super pleasant to speak too. Folks , working in the hospitality industry is ALWAYS hard - and far more now. Have some patience and understanding and please DO calmly alert management to any problems you may come across.The staff her and Mgr Lindsey REALLY are trying, working hard and really appreciate being told. Compliments are welcome of course, but they cant correct a problem if they arent made aware of it. Finally , it is a good location and the restaurant is appealing and comfortable. I hope they get RE opened so we can give em another try next time we visit.

  Just ok

  For level of hotel advertised, the place is just ok. It feels like a Hampton inn with nicer furnishing. Well furnished for sure. The staff was fine, and it was clean for the most part. And it is newer.

  Room not properly cleaned - staff did not care

  Nice room - however was not properly cleaned - coffee machine was filthy and good not be used =- Not all surfaces wiped down - did not feel sanitary. Reported to front desk and all I got was a shrug of the shoulders and no effort to rectify . I do not recommend staying here based on experience with room and staff-

  Nice room, good price, kind employees and convenient location

  The title says it all. I was surprised to walk into such a modern and cool looking hotel. From the outside its not much. The price was outrageously affordable. The room was outfitted nicely with a very comfortable and clean bed. The bathroom was large and also very clean. I basically had the place to myself so the extras (restaurant and lobby bar) were closed - obviously no one travelling due to covid. I would definitely stay here again.
