  FCS Football Championship Game

  Overall a nice hotel. Very clean, front desk customer service was great. Also, the free shuttle service was convenient other than it only goes within a 5 mile radius of the hotel. I would recommend this hotel for a business trip or a quick stay for a reasonable price.

  Not Satisfied, But Nicely Designed Hotel

  We decided to give Hotel Indigo a try for the 4th of July. The hotel is very nicely decorated and furnished, although besides the evening Front desk agent who was friendly, those are the only positives this hotel has to offer. We made 3 simple requests during our stay, all of which the staff was unable to accommodate. Requested a room with a bathtub - 0 bathtubs in the hotel. Requested a mini fridge - 0 mini fridges in the hotel. Requested late check - no late check out available. Plus no breakfast, many hotels are doing to-go breakfasts to continue to accommodate guests during this time. Also the pool was somewhat disappointing as it is only 4ft deep, and no hot tub.

  Well located, "Fresh" and reasonable

  We did a staycation here over the weekend so we could get out of the house and our toddler could swim. Obviously due to Covid your expectations for things must change. That said: The hotel is relatively new and shows as such. It is extremely well located in Frisco and if you chose to there is a lot you could walk to. It is diagonally across from the mall, across the street to the south is the Stars practice facility and the Rough Riders baseball park. And speaking of parks, right out the front door of the hotel is a great little pocketbook with water features and trails to walk. The hotel itself: it is a shame we are dealing with Covid because their restaurant/bar in the lobby looks really cool. (Shut down) The pool while not huge was nice and never that crowded so people could enjoy it and still distance. The room we had was a bit odd. While we didn't book a suite we got one, but it was peculiar. I think it's purpose might have been for a poker party or something because you walk into the room and there is a desk, a large tv, a table and 4 chairs and a bar top with a sink, coffee maker and fridge (no microwave). So without a couch we didn't spend much time in this room. Then the bedroom (with a door) was as you might expect. Furnishings all nice, crisp, New. All flooring in the room was solid surface, no carpet. Bath room was comfortable and not cramped like some can be. If I have one complaint at all it was that the thermostat and air handler was in the entry. So the bedroom could get a bit stuffy at times. Finally had to turn the thermostat so the fan ran all the time.

  Little bit of this... little bit of that

  We always mix business with pleasure if possible. I am a hotel snob and I usually have low expectations... however I adored this place..!! Last time I stayed in Frisco it was at the 5* Westin Stonebriar, time before it was ALoFT at Stonebriar Mall. NO disappointments here...there was little contact with staff except the quick friendly check in. The room was 3x the size of Aloft. 2X the size of a king room at the Westin. It was quiet, even with no carpeting... love that! The bed was super comfortable and there was a mini fridge ( I mentioned bc one review said they dont have them) we had a basic King for about $99.00 smooth check in and out... unfortunately their bar and dining area was closed due to Covid shutdown. The gentleman that checked us in told us where to find wine nearby. The pool was small but nice. The only negative was some obnoxious guests at the pool that were smoking, and being loud. For 39 minutes I thought I was on a Carnival cruise. They left and it became very pleasant. Obviously you dont have to pass Miss Manners to check in!!! Lol!! We did not complain to staff. I will look forward to staying there next time in Frisco. Great location! Rates ! And modern decor!! Loved it!!

  Awesome location and excellent customer service

  I wanted a weekend getaway for my special birthday and I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. The rooms were clean and the bed was dreamy. Although it was a bit cold the pool area was nice since you can drink on the deck. I would wake up to a beautiful lake and take a morning stroll. The best part of my trip was the Awesome customer service Grey and Shyla showed me. They made my birthday getaway very personal and special. Thank you both and I will be back next year. Have an amazing 2020.
