  Top top notch

  Whenever I travel to the Albany area [which is often], this is definitely my hotel of choice. It was always a top-notch hotel, but now that their renovation is complete and they changed to Hilton, it is now top-top notch. The staff always makes you feel welcome and go out of their way to be helpful. The restaurant attached to the hotel is outstanding.

  Back again and still super impressed

  WOW amazing! I come to Albany more times than I care to admit and this hotel is always my no 1 choice. Its super close to the airport (not noisy though) and therefore very convenient. I am COVID paranoid rooms are very very clean and they introduced a seal system where the door is sealed with Hilton lysol sticker after being sanitized so you can see that nobody has come into your clean room. So many other perks since moving to Hilton. I love the fact that I get to use my Hilton honors and that its close to corporate woods. The staff are wonderful, helpful and go out of their way to make my stay amazing. The hotel feels like you're staying at a very expensive hotel but in fact its a steal!! Oh also, renovations that they just did are stunning, I wish the bar was complete during my stay, I peeked in and it looks very chic. Hopefully it will be done by by next stay!

  Everything we were looking for in a hotel

  We stayed here for seven days as part of pre-holiday quarantine and were impressed with the cleanliness and professionalism of the hotel staff and management. The hotel ended up being everything we were looking for. As Hilton Gold members we were upgraded to a suite during our stay, which was very much needed given that we had a small pet with us and were both working from the room. Having a fridge, microwave and second sink really came in handy for re-heating leftovers. There is a communal microwave in the lobby as well that worked just fine for us. One thing I need to mention here is how good the internet was. I have stayed in many Hiltons and not always had great experiences with the Wi-Fi but this hotel's internet was top notch. I took Zoom calls from my room and from the lobby and had no issues throughout the hotel with connectivity. We also streamed numerous shows and even connencted our laptop to the TV to watch Netflix on the big screen. The strong internet may have been due to the lower occupancy of the hotel but either way - the internet was above average. During our stay there was a massive snow storm and Hotel staff worked diligently to clear snow from walkways and provide a safe environment for us and our puppy. They also did a tremendous job maintaining the cleanliness of the lobby and hallways given the amount of salt and mud being brought in. A couple points worth noting - Breakfast is currently on the light side due to COVID. Individually wrapped sandwiches, muffins, yogurts, cereals and granola bars are available each morning. Staff works hard to maintain the breakfast availability but some days were better than others. - All rooms have showers but there are no bathtubs. - The hotel is well located right off the highway and within 5 minutes of the airport and was recently renovated giving it a new hotel feel to it. - Due to COVID the gym is currently closed. - There aren't that many suites in the hotel so if you are a Gold member you shouldn't count on an upgrade to a suite. We would absolutely stay here again and would recommend those looking for a Hilton hotel option close to the airport / highway to give this hotel consideration. Our sincere thanks again to the wonderful staff and management of this property for making our stay safe and enjoyable during the holiday season.

  Great customer service

  Ok so the property used to be an Indigo and its pretty much the same. Its a nice hotel but the customer service is excellent. I stayed because the floors were being redone in my house so it was two adults and two dogs. Stephanie at the front desk was amazing. Let me check in early, friendly and professional. Also, theres breakfast! What more could you want? Thanks

  No Covid Protocols here!

  I had a reservation but when I arrived I learned that a TV Repair technician would have to enter my room. I explained that with Covid 19 protocols in place, that I did not want this, due to possible exposure. I was told I did not have an option. I explained I would need to cancel, but they could not help me because I used points. So, an hour later on the phone with Hilton, I received my points, but no satisfaction, as I do not have a place to stay! So, If you are staying here the next couple of nights, be alert to someone entering your room. Even the cleaning folks do not!
