  NO TE FIES DE LA WEB

  LLegamos en un finde de temporada baja pero había concentración de Harleys. No tiene piscina, pero la interior a pesar de estar en perfecto estado no nos dejaron usarla, aun no se porque. En el desayuno te ponian un letrerito con tu nombre, así que tenias que sentarte ahí, como en el colegio. El desayuno de muy mala calidad. La habitación esta bien. Hicimos una reserva que posteriormente tuvimos que pagar aunque marchamos un día antes. Ese día lo pagamos y un amigo que quería usar la habitación no pudo. Osea que allí seras un billete de euro con patas. Una lastima

  Very nice & Modern, but outdated design in parts with lots of stairs. Aged people beware.

  We picked this hotel for its central location, free parking opposite and good reviews. However it was disappointing that we firstly had to carry our luggage up several steps to the entry foyer. On check in we were told that our room was not accessible by lift and had to walk around to the other side and once more walk up about 20 steps with our bags and down a hall to our room. I presume there is no Porter service as none was offered so as an aged couple we were not happy. Our room was nice and spacious with a comfortable bed however of concern was a steel window blind on the out side which could not be opened making the room dark and a potential risk for escape in case of a fire in the hallway. We had trouble getting the Air Cond. to cool sufficiently during the hot night. There is a bathroom big enough for a bath and a sep. shower recess , however we had to step into the bath to have a shower, again not good for us aged people. I also found the bath slippery and no non slip mat supplied and the emergency cord was rolled up and well out of reach should we have had a fall in the bath. The dividing wall to the bedroom and bathroom is all glass, fortunately these is a curtain you can pull across for privacy. A bit annoying that no tissues were supplied and I had a cold at the time, sneezing a fair bit. The breakfast area is very nice with an excellent view over the harbour and a good variety of food. Its a long drive, about 30 minutes from the Freeway on a very narrow road so if you are not used to driving a LHD car like me, you wont be happy.

  Weekend

  We were over weekend in the Hotel In. It was just open after the lockdown when we got there for a weekend. The hotel is on excellent location. Double room is huge (no 102). Service in the cafe and restaurant is superb. We didn't try wellness and gym. Post Covid-19 measures are in place so we felt safe.

  Not a 4 star hotel

  - Bed/ mattres quality doesn't fulfill 4* standards. - Breakfast is almost horrible. Coffee has too much water, cheese/ salami/ pate selection is the cheapest one. Juice is pure disaster (chemical mix with water). No mediterranean sign of food. - Not possible to set normal water temperature in the bathroom. It changes constantly from cold to very warm and the pressure is low. - Personel is OK but not on the 4* level

  PLEASANT ENOUGH

  Stayed in the hotel for 4 nights and must say that it was pleasant enough. The hotel is on the edge of town, about a 15 minute walk to the main restaurant and bar area. As to the hotel itself, I would like to add my comments on the positives and negatives: + Tranquil setting, with a perfect sunset view over the bay. + Modern hotel, with a warm feeling to it. + Public areas are well maintained. + Cleaning staff are a merit to this hotel, keeping every part of the hotel spotless. + Staff in all areas are friendly and helpful. + Room is spacious, as is the bathroom, with good accessories. Warm feeling in the room. + Sleep quality was great, and the bed and pillow choice was a joy. +/- Breakfast was just reasonable. +/- Internet was free, but during my stay, it was rather slow so disappointing And then I was let down by a few points: - Fitness center yes, there is one but you are a GUEST in the hotel, and still have to pay extra to use it??? Strange to say the least. - Although the bathroom was a decent size, and good amenities, what let me down tremendously was the fact that the water temperature was not stable. Just when you get the temperature right, hoping for a relaxing show, you get blasted with hot water followed by a blast of cold water. So inconsistent which in this 21st century is difficult to understand. - I forked out a few EURO extra to have a view over the marina. Nope not what I got. You could only see the marina from the balcony, if you really made an effort of stretching yourself then you could have a partial view between buildings. - Not much is happening around the hotel, so you will need to walk a bit to find something to eat or drink. - Lastly, I did try the hotel restaurant, which was below par though prices were reasonable.
