Great location, quaint hotelLocation: great 5 minute walk to the lake and all the shops/restaurants. The bus stop is 2 minutes around the corner and this has links to all around the lake. You can get a daily bus pass for 10. Get the bus to Malcesine and go up the cable car! Hotel: very clean rooms and although the bathrooms in the rooms were a little dated, it was suitable for needs. Hot water and decent shower. I would suggest bringing your own hair drier! Very weak and strange attachment to the wall. I had to stand half way across the bathroom to get it to work properly. Kettle, safe and fridge provided in rooms free of charge. However we purchased a bottle of wine from a local supermarket and when asked the reception staff to borrow a corkscrew they refused as they said the wine was not purchased in house. Little disappointed as Ive never had an issue elsewhere, plus you could see all the bottles of alcohol the cleaners removed from other peoples rooms that clearly werent bought from the hotel. Food: Found the food great, breakfast had a decent choice and the dinners were always very tasty and good sized portions. Little too much sometimes! Buffet vegetable and salad bar available. The restaurant staff in particular safian and amin were so professional, friendly, helpful and attentive- special shout out to them! We did not use the pool as the weather wasnt warm enough, but looked lovely. Clean and with plenty of sun beds. You could see someone attending to it every morning. The Thursday gala dinner outside was something different and enjoyable. The entertainment was slightly aimed at the retired clientele, would be nice to have more of a mix of songs. Also feel as though the hotel could benefit from other evenings of entertainment. We ended up going to other hotels for their entertainment. Small bar area that filled up in the evenings and had a nice atmosphere.

Amazing Holiday in Lake GardaFrom the moment we entered The Imperial Hotel we were made to feel very welcome, it was owned and run by the family and nothing was to much trouble, the rooms were excellent with extras such as tea/coffee making facilities, wifi if you needed it plus towels from reception to take to the pool, there was a good selection from the menu to choose from at breakfast and evening meal, all cooked and presented beautifully, restaurant staff were first class, always pleasant and smiling, once a week they held a gala evening around the pool where there was singing and dancing and wonderful food, the pool are was spotless and so was the public areas inside the hotel, we would definitely stay at this Hotel again, Garda and surrounding areas were amazing, local people were very friendly.

Fantastic HotelMy partner and I stayed here in August 2019 for our first stay in this hotel and in Lake Garda. I can see why people come here year after year as this is a very pleasant place to stay. The cleanliness is very good, the staff are all very friendly and the small, intimate nature of the hotel makes you feel like its a very personal stay. The location is great and a short walk to Garda, which is beautiful. Some minor issues which may interest others are the fact the sunbathing area lost the sun for the most part by 3pm due to a large tree (which I believe is not the property of the hotel) - so all day bathers may want to consider this. Also the entertainment was few and far between, which didnt bother us too much, but those who seek to be entertained without leaving the grounds may like to know this. But other than this we found the hotel brilliant. We also got engaged in Garda and the staff made our experience extra special when they knew about this! Wed also like to thank our waiter, Luca, who made us laugh and helped us navigate the food menus throughout the week! So now we got engaged there we have a reason to go back to Garda in the future and this hotel would be our first choice when we do!

Mr and mrs priceMy husband and I visited hotel imperial for about 16 years, each year we found something differant to see, as well as visiting regular places of beauty around garda, the hotel became our second home, and the family running the hotel, were like family to us, the hotel was always clean, comfortable friendly, and the food was delicious,we have not been able to return to Italy for the past 5 years as my husband has been in Ill health. There is not a year goes by that we both wish with all our hearts that we could return to this wonderful hotel and town, During this worrying caronavirus pandemic, we are worried about our friends at the imperial hotel, and we both hope and pray they are all free from the virus,we are at the moment free fom it, but are isolated completely inside our house, we are hearing about how bad things are in italy, but are hoping that garda is free from the virus, When the world is clear again, the imperial hotel in lake garda, we are sure would be one of the best places to travel to, so you can relax after this horrìble trauma we have all been through. Every one is always looked after in every way possible by this family running hotel imperial, so if you wish to travel to italy, look no further than the imperial hotel garda. To Arianna and family, we bothe wish you all well, and hope you all keep safe, From Betty and Bobby Price So Shields Your 2 geordie friends xx

FantasticWe absolutely love this hotel and have visited lots of times now and will continue to do so in the future. We have been in August and September this year. The hotel is small, friendly and spotlessly clean. We visited during the Covid pandemic and had no worries or problems at all. Staff followed all safety protocol. Breakfast, which is usually buffet, is still up to its usual high standard, but staff serve you now to keep everyone safe. Tables, chairs and sun beds are regularly sanitised throughout the day. We felt 100% safe here and would recommend people to visit this wonderful hotel any time, but especially now to support this lovely family. We have been twice this year, once in August and once in September. Please support and visit.
