There is a very good and kindly service at the hotel. Lovely breakfast buffet, and very good lunch and dinner. The rooms are not big but they are nice and clean. We have been there severel times.

Good, better, ...Good, better, After having skipped tree years we showed up again in Hotel Imperia, Lido di Jesolo, Italy. As a matter of fact, we could not imagine during checking in what waited for us (taking into account the fact that it was our sixth time in the Hotel). Of course, the building and the rooms of the Hotel were the same; however, a lot has changed. Magnetic locks, newly painted walls, pictures and decorations on the walls, etc. The Cleaning Staff performed very well on a daily basis; we were really more than satisfied with it. Regarding the rooms, there were seemingly new beddings, towels, free room safe without deposit, working air condition which is, regarding the very hot whether outside, was really a lifesaver (read the temperature on one of the attached photos). As for the Restaurant, there is a new arrangement for breakfasts, and even gluten free meals are available. New and well-structured Menu Card makes to have your choice much easier. All servers are very young and with acceptable level of English knowledge, and needless to say that they were very polite and helpful. But the most important is the quality of meals; compering to the state of affairs three years ago it is much better now, though it was good also at that time. What is also new is the Jesolo daily news; it is on your table every morning, informing you first of all on whether forecast and topics like whats on, Do not miss, Did you know?, Things to do, Lets play, A taste of Jesolo, and Jesolo and around; it is very helpful. There are new beach umbrellas, sun loungers and deck chairs and also new play grounds for children and nadults. By chance, I noticed a price list of beach umbrellas, deck chairs, etc. for rent, well, it is quite costly, at least 100 Euro per week. As you know it is free of charge on the private beach of the Hotel. The situation is the same with car parking; it is very costly everywhere. In light of these factors, the bill you have to pay when leaving the Hotel is more than fair. All in all, it was a very good decision to spend a week again in Hotel Imperia. It is very high value for your money. We were happy to see familiar faces, couples and families among the guests of the Hotel. Based on this it is very probable that others share also our high evaluation of the Hotel and its services. We take full responsibility for offering this little but wonderful Hotel to everybody.

Lovely hotel, very centralImperia Hotel is set back just off the main street in Lido di Jesolo. So it's very quiet but only a few yards from all the bars, restaurants and shopping. Helpful and friendly staff, couldn't do enough for us. We just had bed and breakfast and ate out every night. Breakfast was great - cereal, croissants, cake, home-made jam, fresh fruit, bacon/eggs, cheese, salami, all the usual continental fare. Fabulous coffee and hot milk, got us off to a good start every day. Restaurant and reception staff all very pleasant and accommodating, always someone available and answered all our questions. Resort is quite busy, lots of families, a fantastic beach. Free sunbeds and umbrellas provided by each hotel. We had a couple of days out and used local bus (No.5) to get to Punta di Sabbione and then from there the ferry into San Marco, Venice. Another day we used same bus route but took a different ferry route to Murano and then Burano. Bought all tickets from hotel reception. Trips were well worth doing, think they were about 22.50 euros per person but you could get on buses and boats at any time. Remember to validate your ticket, otherwise you'll be in trouble! We also used the bus from and to the airport - 3.5 euros per person for a single journey, ridiculously cheap compared to public transport in the UK. We got a taxi from the bus station, 12 euros for 2 people and one suitcase. Hotel also has bikes available. The area's very flat and there are cycle lanes around town, and there's a lovely river, also has a cycle path. Lots of wildlife - swans, moorhens, geese, etc. We also saw a coypu family feeding on the riverbank. Weather wasn't great while we were there (storms across northern Europe) and one day we walked to the bus station, got the local bus into Jesolo, had a coffee then a walk around the town and walked back to Lido di Jesolo along the river. Was a really lovely walk, very peaceful and really enjoyed it. I have been to Venice, Murano and Burano before, and can thoroughly recommend them. Venice is amazing, and Murano and Burano (my favourite) are worth visiting too - very picturesque with lovely restaurants, so go and have some lunch. Hadn't been to Lido di Jesolo, but thoroughly enjoyed it. Some previous reviewers have said it's like Blackpool - well I can see what they mean but I live near Blackpool and Lido di Jesolo is much nicer!! Loved the Imperia, loved Lido di Jesolo. Recommend both.

Great stay, especially for gluten free travellersThe staff is very nice and helpful, food is great, especially that coeliacs have the same amount of dishes they can choose from. We upgraded our room to Deluxe which was a good decision. If their parking is full, they provide free access to a public parking lot 3 minutes walk away. The hotel has it's own beach, so you don't have to rent and look for a free umbrella, sunbed. It is located in the center.
