  no es un cuatro estrellas real

  Las habitaciones son espaciosas, la recepción es tremendamentelenta ,, la habitación estaba muy limpia. Lo peor el desayuno, pobre, malo y la maquina de cafe, chocolate etc.... salia solo agua caliente completemente cristalina, ni leche ni chocolate..... Los camareros del restaurante muy antipaticos. El secador no lo encontramos hasta el ultimo dia que lo tenian guardado en un armario.... En el mapa te lo situan al lado de las pistas, no es real......

  AVOID AVOID AVOID AT ALL COST!!!!!!

  This hotel is bad. DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL. I dont normally write reviews as I think Im moaning but with this I need to let people know what its really like. Im going to bullet point it for simplicity. - gaps in walls, ceiling, floors, doors - generally dirty all over hotel - fixtures and furnishings in very poor state - Flies in the lights - Kitchen no equipment - Holes in the walls - Door keys fit other rooms (multiple) - Socks holding shower up - Holes in the floors - Carpets stapled together - Lift not working for months - Baby mattress for adult bed - Wallpaper stapled together - Door and room signs sellotaped to walls - Food was so bad we had to eat out every meal - Pool freezing jacuzzi broken - Door kicked in in the middle of the night Asked for glasses from bar for room they said cant as only have about what I could see 20/30 glasses for entire hotel. - dodgy wiring for light sellotaped into a plug socket - The locals poked fun at us for staying at the Iceberg and said it had gone into administration so be careful. This and more was put to Balkan Holidays who we booked through who have come back to us and said that the hotel Iceberg is a 4 star hotel. We are currently complaining to ABTA as it was so bad and with there of the shoulder response to our complaint. Balkan Holidays hold your head in shame and wait for ABTA to be in contact.

  Too dated to visit!

  We were here during midterms. Booked because the website images looked good. Upon arrival all was different. The room was not clean, beds are old and all the mattress springs were poking through the beds. The bathroom was unhygienic. Draining pipe in the floor was not blocked off and the bath side came off the bath. Lighting in the hotel is desastreus. Lights are not on permanente and work on sensors (that work poorly). The dining room is very very old and unhygienic. The food is poor. Eggs were stone cold and when looking in the drinking water tank there was green algae floating around. All in all this is a poor hotel and will never go here again. Its a 2 star in reality vs a 4 star on paper.

  Avoid this hotel

  Anything but luxury. Not 4 star. Not ski in/ski out. Constantly dark as they never turn lights on in any common areas including lobby. Rooms are not as shown on layout and extremely uncomfortable beds, no tv in rooms. No one ever at reception for help. Extremely grim place. Only 1-2 staff speak English.

  Good choice for skiing Holiday.

  We travelled with 2 families for skiing and snowboarding in Borovets. According to many Tripadvisor reviews we expected a real horror house. Now our experience: Our rooms were on 7 floor. Apartement and double room. The rooms were clean and warm with balcony. There is sauna with swimming pool downstairs and it's free for hotel customers. We used it every day after skiing - what a pleasure . Also they have special room for storing ski equipment. Neighbourhood is quiet, because this hotel is few steps from center. Every day garbage was removed from rooms and beds were done. Good breakfast - boiled eggs, fried eggs, scrambled eggs, bacon, salads, different sausages and cheeses, some sweeties. Only coffe was real crap. I think this hotel is not bad choice at all.
