  Good Food in Montbeliard

  The weather outside was too nasty to venture into, so we stayed at Le Cabriolet in the hotel. Enjoyed prompt and friendly service as well as a very delicious meal at a good price. Breakfast was also a real winner - deeply enhancing our overall stay at this clean, modern hotel.

  a bit dated

  This is one of the old Ibis hotels. Rooms are ok, but quite smaller than the average Ibis. There are stairs to the reception and no no lift to the second floor. We were not offered the silver card free drink. Breakfast average. The hotel was quite difficult to find if your Gps is not recently updated. The parking was not enclosed.

  Visited the restaurant : worth it

  We stayed at the Ibis budget and searched a restaurant closeby.... The Ibis Montbeliard. The interior has an efficient hotel-looks. So don't go for the entourage. But if you're looking for honest and good food, French cuisine, this is your place. And the serve it for very reasonable prices too. Staff is very friendly some of us had some specific requirements for the food and it was possible. For vegetarians the menu seems not to offer much but hey, you're in France. But if you ask they are willing to make adjustments to replace the meat. Fresh ingredients, as it should be. Dressed plates. Tasting fine.

  Cheap but not very cheerful

  We booked in for 3 nights after looking at pictures on website and booking, we decided we would stay there for a wedding last weekend. We arrived late (930pm) and checked in okay, however when we got to the corridor, it was clear to see that the hotel was very dated. The smell in the corridor was similar to that of a public toilet, not very welcoming! Thankfully the room didnt smell this way, however it did smell of smoke. The room just didnt seem clean and also didnt look like the pictures (we maybe had a very dated room). A ball of hair was found in the bedsheets as well as some other body hair. On seeing this it made us feel that the room was not very clean so we decided to check out in the morning (both my partner and I and brother in law and his wife). Disappointing!!

  Bad

  Not good installations. The place is too old and needs to be renewed. Even for Ibis, the place was too basic. the breakfast was ok for Ibis level. Don't expect too much when going there. you have better options in the city
