For less money, more than enough comfortIn fact I booked via Booking.com so to speak, in the last minute.Hotel is definitely more than satisfy my expectations.Room with balkonomje was clean and nicely decorated. Breakfast was comparable to rates higher categories - and varied to suit all tastes (even domestic desserts). The staff are friendly and discreet. Dont forget that hotel have just 3 star

Friendly people, tasty food and good location!Sending mail wil hotel manager was very good comparing to other hotels I have contacted to see if they had room for 5 people. By our arrival, it was already at dinner time but they have kindly asked us if we were going to eat at hotel and told us about what kind of meal they were serving (since everyday are different). Before our dinner, they have kindly explained about hotel area's, I think I should mention about beaches since some people have noted that beaches being "long walk" or "far". To be honest that conclusion is pretty much 50-50. That's because friendly person from front desks would give you so much information and map around the area (their English are good and they are willing to help you out when you have questions, I think the managers are married couple). Anyways back to the area of the hotel: it's around 5 to 10min walk from supermarket but if you explore the streets nearby the hotel, you will find more shops nearby. As for beaches, the nearest to our hotel is about 7 to 10min walking (beach A -plaza Bosana), beach B (plaza Drazica) is about (20min) and beach C (plaza Soline) is about 30mins (you can go with your car but it's much more advantage to go early since it's much cheaper to park for 1 day then per hour). I am going to place google map to give idea for those people to give picture of 3 beaches (so feel free to check it out :) ). Not to mention, there are more beaches but further away (like Palma beach but you have to pay to enter but if you are smart enough you can walk further and find the way to get there without paying). To be honest, it doesn't matter which beaches you go since everywhere is packed(both popular and less popular beaches). IF you want to avoid the crowd then I recommend to go there around 2 or 3PM since it gets less busy since people would tend to go to restaurants, bars, hotel or even to the nearest city (Zadar). Or you just go there on time :) Hotel itself was very clean, comfortable and I just love it! You get for what you pay but they really deserve the 3 star! For those people who had exhausting day, I would recommend eating your dinner at this hotel because it was very good and price was reasonable! But you have to let the manager/hotel desk know that you are eating your dinner or not so they can make your portions (the menu changes everyday so you can always ask them what's the menu for tonight). The one negative thing for dinner would be desert! If you are not a big fan of canned fruits salad then don't take fruits salad for your desert because everything was fresh except for that. As for bed, it was comfortable, aircon functioned very well and it was quite neighbourhood so you can rest peacefully and wake up early (since the day starts early but it gets dark very fast! around 6pm it's gets very dark to pitch black dark). I have mentioned about dinner (they change the menu everyday and they serve small appetizer/soup, main dish and dessert). They only charge you after you let them know you are going to eat dinner at hotel. For breakfast, it was included and they have variation so you won't have any problem (if egg is empty then you can always ask them, it goes same to coffee since they will serve it to you instead of doing at buffet table). As for front desk, they are friendly and when we didn't had any plans we went to talk to them to get advice and what is local recommendations such as beach or restaurants, and they will be very honest with you (both good and bad). So don't hesitate to ask them! The lady is very friendly, social and humorous, just as the man (I described him as a big teddy bear, you will once know it if you get to know him :)). Just like before, their English is good and they do try their best so give them time to talk (if you are impatient with them then why you bother taking this hotel when it's a great 3 star hotel there is in the area!). For those people who are curious about the area, I can explain briefly. There are street full of restaurants and bars (blok D - check the picture-+) with walking distance of 16 to 20min. There are two ways to go there (along the harbor or go to the main street to go through plaza). There are a lot of choices along with range of prices and style so you can take your time to look around before you go in there (OR you can just search through google or even in tripadvisor for it!). For those people who are doubting to stay in Biograd na Moru, I have some selection of must visit nearby this area (meaning with the car of course)! - Zadar (30min to 1h distance): it's one of Croatian city but I took a visit to the old town of Zadar because it's cozy and it's romantic (meaning historical, ruin and not a modern place). There are live performance, many restaurants and you can take your time for sightseeing walking around Zadar (it's small and you can get a city map from the tourist information desk which can be found at plaza of Narodni trg). I definitely recommend to visit there at night time for Monument to the Sun/The Greeting to the Sun! The lights are very pretty and next to it there is a Sea organ which make a sound from the wind which was was created by the sea weave! -Murter (36min to 1h distance); it's an island and it's famous for beautiful beaches (like really beautiful)! It was recommendation of manager and local croatian goes there too. So it must be great! I have gone there but it was around 6pm so I get to see the beautiful sunset and had a dinner! -ibenik (1h distance): it's famous of UNESCO church and it's surroundings. The Narrowed streets and the fact there isn't a lot of tourist made it very special since it made peaceful. There is market in the morning so it's worth a visit if you can wake up early (because by the time we arrived there, it was already finished!) -National park Krka (around 1h distance): it's national park where you can get to swim in the lake! It's beautiful but it's super crowded! It's a worth taking some beautiful pictures while swimming but don't be crazy going across the safe line (since it's dangerous and it's very disrespectful, keep in your mind that it's a "national park" and the waterfall is very powerful that I can feel myself floating towards it that I have to always swim back - so please remember to take enough rest when you get tired!). The only trouble with be ticket-line is very long when you arrive Skradin. From here out, you can catch the ferry! Of course, you can get the ticket at the entrance of the national park Krka as well!). It's good to bring your own packed food or drinks since national Park also sells food and drinks but it's pricey for Croatian price! -Trogir and Split (around 1h20min distance): both lovely historical area! In Trogir there are beautiful small gate with a lot of small shops (inner and outer area). Also there are famous church but you have to pay BUT there is building right front of the the church where you can actually climb to the upper part for free! So if you are not afraid of height then it worth taking a peek for a view! As for Splits, they have splendid old castle where you can go through underneath (a lot of small shops) to upper theatre! -Plitvice Lakes National Park (about 1h35min distance): most know, popular and famous national park in Croatia! It's very beautiful and I would recommend you to go there (even though it's very packed)! I will note that, it's best to bring your own drink and food since you can only find the shops or restaurants at the entrance or at the end of the park (where you have to catch a bus to return to nearby entrance). -Paklenica National Park, Starigrad (about 50min distance): for those climbing or hiking lovers is a MUST! But I have to say it's very tiring but worth it! they have breath taking view and there are small late and rivier to just take a break to swim! If you go a lot higher they even have homemade pool (free for jump-in but please don't dive in xp). If you are big fun of researching your destinations (things to do) then I am sure you can find more activities by using google or tripadvisor. To end my review---> Why I would recommend you to stay in this hotel would be: 1) The workers are friendly (if you smile they will definitely smile back even though they don't speak English). 2) The managers / front desks are just wonderful! They do their best abilities to help you out and they will take their time to listen to your request and solve it (at arrival they will give you map and explaining the directions as well as tips for beaches) 3) The communication through mail are great! So you don't have to hesitate to contact them if you have any questions 4) The room is just perfect (no complains, very clean, good air conditioning) 5) neighbourhood is peaceful so you can take a nice rest 6) nearby the beach (beach A which I mention is 10min walking) 7) nearby the restaurants, shops and bar (around 15min to 17min walking if you take the right street) 8) Perfect place to stay if you want to visit different places (look at many possible activities that I mentioned above and I am sure you can visit more things) 9) the price value is just amazing (it's family, couple, friends and solo friendly) 10) one negative thing - the parking is limited so sometimes you have to park at side of hotel instead of their parking (but that's all!) If you have any question, please feel free to ask me :) I would definitely go back again! PS - there is free wifi so you can always ask the password at frontdesk (but don't over exaggerate for heavy use since may slow the connection a little - remember you are not in 4 or 5 star hotel!)

Unprofessional (I thought something like that was impossible to happen)I have never witnessed so unprofessional and rude behaviour to a hotel guest as I did in hotel Palma in Biograd. Hotel was booked directly by phone and booking was later confirmed. After the first night the personell appologized and asked if they could change the room because they have a new booking for guests with longer stay. Ok. After moving to the second room they changed a room again next day (three times in three nights during the stay and this second time they switched rooms without asking and have moved the baggage by themselves; when no one was in the room). Despite they moved the stuff, some personal belongings were left in the closet of the old room but the new guest was already in the room sleeping or something - so the things left behind could be picked up only the day after. At the end - this last (3rd) room was in the attic and was without a key. Things in the room with ulocked door and the air condition coudn't cool the space at all. It was the last night in Palma, obviously.

Not worthy of 3 starsOnly stayed here 2 nights thankfully and would not be going back. Firstly security poor, its 24 hour check in but desk not manned you have to phone attendant who then took passports and put on a shelf by front desk and went back to bed, anyone could take them in fact we did, went back downstairs and took them back to be in safe side. Room not clean or warm and breakfast was inedible.

Nice hotel frozen in pastHotel has good position near marina entry and 5 minute away from city center. Peoppe are friendly and brekfast offers enough different types of food. Only problem is room and bathroom quality. A lot of dust and small bathroom, which really need serious update. 3rd bed is normalxsize and adult canneasily sleep on it.
