  Nice student accommodation, pity i was travelling on business

  The rooms are clean but very basic and small. Bed, desk, wardrobe and TV and a very compact bathroom with shower tray and plastic curtain. No phone. No tea making, no mini bar and the WiFi didn't work on any device. 100 euros made this expensive for what it offers.

  Convienent location. Good for overnight stay.

  Staff was nice. Rooms were clean and comfortable. No frills, just pretty basic which is all we needed as we were only passing through town for the night. Located relatively close to the train station and dining options.

  Think hostel

  The room was spartan to say the least.. beds were comfortable though quite low to the floor.. bathroom was cramped but had a decent though tiny shower. The hotel inside and out was quite dated and seemed a holdover from the Cold War. Be advised that if you are staying here during warm weather, the hotel has no cooling... it was mid eighties when we were here and we had to leave the windows fully open all night to make sleeping bearable. With the windows open there was of course quite a bit of traffic noise. On the plus side its very close to the main train station and a bus stop for the airport shuttle. The hotel also provided an included breakfast with a decent selection of rolls, cold cuts, cereal, boiled eggs and such. The Wi-if is free but awful.

  Quiet, economy and nice

  Although Hornung hotel is small but is nice, quiet and economy. The performance of personnel is very warm and nice. Its breakfast is too better than too many of 4 stars Hotels although the space of lounge is not big but its atmosphere is too nice. I suggest this hotel for small family and couples especially for its economic budget.

  friendly staff ,clean rooms

  5 minutes walk from railway /bus station which has a direct airliner bus to frankfurt airport every 30 minutes,the hotel was basic but clean and the receptionists were very helpful ,breakfast was included and was ok ,area was fairly quiet and il definitely use it again on my next trip to Darmstadt.
