  Not as it appears.

  The Hoffmann Hotel is well situated, a very short walk to the main bus station in Kladno. Hotel is quite attractive and at first glance is quite clean. Stayed for six days last week of December 2016 and initially was pleased staying there. However, during my stay, for two days the room was not cleaned or made up. Had to ask for clean towels. Sheets were NOT changed during the entire six days despite the fact that I had to pay a premium price for staying there at that time of the year and the hotel had vacancies during my stay. Reception staff were respectable but had to ask several times for payment receipts. Lo and behold, after about four days I noticed that I was getting an itchy back. After six days I noticed blood on the lower sheet and that my back was covered with what appeared to be bed bug bites!! VERY VERY disappointing as I had to leave the hotel on New Year's Day in order to find another hotel. Beware of my experience!!!!! It took at least a week for the bites and itchiness on my back to disappear! Sad, as the hotel otherwise looks nice.

  Very interesting building

  Great location short walk from town, very clean and comfortable rooms, beds and pillows very comfortable. Great value for money. Will definitely return. Staff friendly and helpful. Beautiful gardens. Very interesting building. Cannot understand the negative reviews as nothing negative to say about this place

  Very nice and romantic accommdation.

  Very nice, stylish and clean rooms in Art-Deco Style from 1913. Nice and originally restored hotel. Original double windows which can be opened separately and curtains. Quiet location. Free parking in front of hotel. Breakfast buffet sufficeient and very good. Staff very friendly and helpful.

  Small hotel with nice interior but noisy.

  Small friendly hotel from outside and excellent enterior inside, really Art Deco. But the room... I had the room no.1, close to the reception, maybe that was the problem. It was terrible, every small noise were audible in the room. Every morning at 5:50 I was waking up for the ringing bell (maybe the reception shift arrived...) Second morning somebody pushed the bell for couple of minutes. Also breakfast was poor, cold scrambled eggs, empty juice bottles... Overall I am happy that I spent only 2 nights there. Will not come back.

  Excellent gem of a hotel

  Stayed in a beautiful attic apartment, lots of space, huge living area with dining table, kitchenette, bathroom and separate bedroom. Scrupulously clean and lovely bedding. Very friendly and helpful hotel staff. Only recommendation I can make is the installation of curtains in the bathroom and kitchen for extra privacy. Would definitely stay again if in Kladno.
