  Charming place to rest

  Charmingly quaint main floor - breakfast room felt like you were in an old mansion dining room - and lovely views into the back garden. Rooms are comfortable, spotless and nicely laid out. The staff were excellent - friendly, excellent English-speaking hostess. Breakfast was lovely and the demi-pension dinner was simple but delicious. Location is excellent - quick walk to downtown, longer walk to the beach (with a big hill!). Only downside was no internet connection, but that was a minor inconvenience.

  Central and comfortable

  This is a traditional hotel, sympathetically refurbished, with comfortable rooms. It's run, apparently single-handedly, by a kind and patient lady who does everything from running the reception desk to serving breakfast. English is not spoken, but she does make a point of talking slowly and clearly, making it easier to communicate if you have basic French. Breakfast, served in the pleasant ground floor dining room overlooking the garden, is simple but adequate, with coffee, juice baguette and croissants. There's no buffet or hot food offering. As we were on half board, we also had dinner at the hotel. Although there's no choice, the starters and main courses are well cooked and presented, but the atmosphere in the dining room was distinctly subdued. Drinks are not the strong point, with expensive wine and sadly only one type of bottled beer on offer - Heineken. Contrary to the earlier reviews, there is now wi-fi for guests. The signal was strong in our room, and the service is free. Perros-Guirec is a town with three distinct centres: the beach, the upper town and the port. Hotel Hermitage is in the upper town, a good 15 minute walk from the beach. But restaurants and shops are close at hand, including two branches of Carrefour City supermarket. There's free parking in the spacious courtyard out front.

  Extremly clean!

  Can absolute recommend this hotel. Så nice welcoming from the owner. Good parking space and central to some shops. The room very absolutely fresh and clean. Good reading lights and comfy beds. The breakfast was OK. Good service Very good price

  Great Hotel

  Very clean location, friendly staff. Quiet and comfortable place. We will definitely come back to this place. We don't know why this hotel is rated as a two star hotel, we think it definitely has the standard of a three star hotel!

  Lovely stay

  We stayed at the hotel hermitage in early June and although the weather was not brilliant the hotel more than made up for it . The welcome when checking in was friendly and polite we were shown to our room which was clean light and airy. The breakfast was excellent and there was something different every morning.We enjoyed staying here and wouldnt hesitate in returning
