Cosy, quiet and near train stationStayed here for 2 nights so that we can explore this quiet and small town thats near a huge outle next to 2 train station. Check in and out process was smooth and didnt take too much time. Parking can be limited. Room size is decent and the toilet was big for Japan hotel. Hot water control was good, and good water pressure. Mattress was too soft for us, and the bed frame was low, which makes it easy to knock your shins easily and it can be painful. The breakfast spread was decent and nice. Staff are friendly. Reception only operates till 11pm, so make sure you put in any special requests before its too late. Hotel deco gives a warm and cosy feel, with a library of Japanese books to choose from. They even have a small fireplace in the dining hall. Overall a good experience.

Quiet, convenient hotel of great valueWe stay in a Japanese western style quadruple room which can accommodate up to 4 people. The room is spacious and have a tatami area. Toilet and bathroom are separated. The hotel is in a great location. 15 mins walk from the north exit of Karuizawa Station. Prince outlet, Kumoba pond, Ginza shopping street & St Pauls Church can be reached within 30 mins. There is a supermarket across the road and a shabu shabu restaurant just next to the hotel. This is a quiet, convenient, spotless hotel as well as good value for money .

More than satisyingVery close from the Karuizawa train station, juat take the north exit, pick the ladder down on your left, walk to the hotel in less than 5 minutes. If you want to go to the shopping plaza, just take the same route to the station and pick the south exit from the station. We booked family room - new building for a very reasonable price, however, I can tell you thay it's more than just value for money, but also amazingly satisfying. This is a small hotel with few front office staffs but helpful with good english, spacious room with extra room with futon beds (that my children were really excited), plenty toiletery facilities (good quality of shampoo and shower gel), and everything was very clean. Just beside the lobby entrance, those were 2 very expensive restaurant, sushi and shabu2, which you can try once while visiting Japan. Overall, this hotel is very2 recommended.

Near Karuizawa Station and Relatively QuietStayed here for two nights, the hotel is located about a street or two away from Karuizawa Station. It is relatively quiet yet conveniently located opposite a convenience store and mini supermarket. There are also a few restaurants and cafes located near the hotel, some of which are opened till 10 pm or 11 pm. If you are driving, they have a number of parking lots around the hotel. Some of them can be rather tight to maneuver though around. The rooms are quite spacious and they also provide biscuits along with the tea. The toilets even have a bathtub. There is also a library where you can browse through many books including children picture books. However most of them are in Japanese. I had arrived early from Tokyo on my first day and I was allowed to check in early as the room was ready. I appreciate that flexibility a lot.
